I am hoping we can collectively separate the horses from the horses asses (and maybe the horseshit).

I am still 1000000% committed to newcomers joining, and I dont mind differences of opinion, but I DO mind people not respecting how we’ve set up this thread and not being respectful of long standing members.

I am working away... busy bee today with work meeting with docs to tell them to stop doing what they are doing wrong...(they love that). After those meeting over I have 4 village ordinances to type up to submit to mayor to go to our lawyers to look at. The 4th of July was a shit show in town.... I see a new ordinance in my future. They were setting off ordinances on the state route that runs through town and got mad when the police told them to shut it down. Fun until not safe then fun is done

Took the HfD to the shop for the 5th time to try to get the state vehicle safety inspection done. He was waiting for them (the fucking state, since it's their idea) to deliver via US mail the 25s for the new stickers - the expiration year. They finally showed up yesterday. They did the inspection at no cost because I had been up there several times for it. That was mighty decent of them - they sure as Hell didn't have to. Those are the kinds of things that are dying out in this no-service economy of ours, and they are the kids of things that will cause Wat to go back.

How’s your shingles doing?? Hopefully you’re on the way out soon. Ever since I’ve had shingles maybe 15 yo, I have this one itchy spot on my back… hopefully you don’t get that.
