A silly horse story. One morning, I was going biking somewhere. This was Out West, and this was on Zelda. Zelda is a touring bike with a huge engine upgrade, basically to superbike status as far as horsepower produced. She's one Hell of a ride. And Wat put upgraded sewer pipes (not literally) for mufflers on her when the whole thing took place. She's good-n-loud. As I walked out to mount up, I was followed by my big ol' horse buddy, and he stood there and watched me mount up and prepare to fire up. He'd heard her run before but I guess he hadn't put 2 and 2 together. Anyway, when Zelda fired off, he got a very surprised look and turned and ran and went behind the red horse (who wasn't paying attention which is typical of him) and looked over his back to make sure that the Horrible Noise wasn't going to come to get him. I think that's the only time I ever saw him run.

Good morning all. A stormy week ahead with unpredictable weather. Oh it must be summer then.

Got some help with muscle to move some furniture last week so my study is in shape. The rest of sorting through things and getting rid of stuff I don’t want or need is up to me.

The landlady, who saw the whole thing, and I laugh about how willing he was to toss his bestie to the jaws of the beast to save his silly poodle ass. I wish I had a picture of him looking over Tally's back to make sure that Zelda wasn't coming for him. Telly never missed a beat and kept grazing. That's one of the disconcerting things about Telly - he hasn't got a clue.

We got us some rain, too. I'll plow through some job listings and then head off to Wally's for the weekly grocery run.

Happy Monday!!! Looks like we get rain here in a bit. I put off the grocery shopping until today, so I reckon I'll risk getting wet. And I'l get to walk in the rain, too. We'll do that later. Slept okay. Cats have been fed. The old cat has gone back to bed already. Windows are still open. Looks like we have a good chance of rain all week. So it'll be humid. Can't wait.


Coffee should be ready.

That dang hindsight is 20/20.... I wish I would have done and not done some things/people. My life would have been very different.
