You know, when you get a new critter, just because you get it with a name doesn't that it's her/his name. Sometimes, they will tell you what their names are, if you listen to them with a quiet mind.

Girl cat - came w/ her name, no objections, she answered to it so I left it... over time got some variation nicknames

Boy cat - got as kitten, no name, resulting name reflected his actions & attitude, my naming him got me off all family naming committees (for life) - bonus win IMO!!

I’ve been meaning to do it for weeks, been putting it off.

So i went and done it.

And sold $35 worth of firewood today.

So not a bad night. So far. Let’s see what you troublemakers are posting…

SSDD at work, too. Crowd Strike issues, SharePoint issues, Outlook issues, impromptu meetings missed, dates in 2 systems not aligning, decisions made to try and understand catch up on... the usual

Hope you all had a lovely week with no surprises (like a fridge that lost power and all food spoiled) - that was a fun welcome home.
I realize I was behind schedule in cleaning it all out, but really, universe? Did I really need such a forced restart there? So. Mean.

Hand is feeling better. Vacation helped. New ergonomic mouse is helping. Brace/exercises helping. Removed the brace just before lunch because it was annoying me. Ready to put it back on again because that little bit of typing is annoying the tendons again.
