Morning all. Got the week started right! Lot to do on this Staycation. Like sleeping in today! Now the hard part starts. Rain is gone so out in the heat to prep the area where I’m dropping in some flagstone. Suns out, windows are fogged, gonna be a steamy one.

Happy Tuesday!!! Slept okay. 75*/92% outside now, so the a/c may be going back on because it's gonna be pea soup out there, at least for starters. I need to try to get a bit better motivated today. There's stuff to do and it's not getting done. Meh.


But I'm already on my refill cup, so there's that.

I never learned to bartend, I wish I had I would do it now that I am retired. Someone gave me a bottle of bourbon and it sat on a shelf for years. I went to a picnic and took it along. That is when I learned I could drink too much of it and not end up with a hangover.

I occasionally bartend at our rec club. It’s kinda fun. It’s mostly just getting beers. And every once in a while some vodka and cranberry or whiskey sour or old fashioned.

That’s about all I can do.

I do make my wife cosmos once in a while.

I was up at 3 AM again last night, but this time at least I could get back to sleep.

Was thinking about the BaFin regulations for work. (German financial regulator). I call it boffin, like getting fucked. Because that’s exactly what it is.

We have to follow all us regulations but also those of Germany when putting in systems. And I’m part of a team doing two system implementations.

More fuckin regulations. More oversight. Less real work done - more boffin.

I’m working from home today, because we’re supposed to have our site inspection for a grant that we got for our farm. but they canceled.

Oh well….
