OMG! I finished this month's book last night! It was pretty hot and perfect for my night out with my husband in a hotel room. LOL.
*waves*
I am still alive - been buried in real life CRAP and it has taken me 3 months to read a book that normally takes me 2 days to read. BUT I have a gift certificate and unburied from some of the bs so bring it on!
The Darker Side of Pleasure or Heartsick gets my vote for next month..but any other book is not a problem.
And we should have another person I know joining in the discussion as well.

Another person? Yay!
It looks like Heartsick is winning our informal poll here.
Here I am!!
I heard Heartsick was an excellent read. Got my vote.
Hey! I'm glad I found this thread; reading through the book descriptions I wouldn't even know where to start. The Darker Side of Pleasure sounds good, as does Carrie's Story.
I'm eager to read, and discuss, whichever book is chosen!!
ohhhh, I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did. Putting on my pile to re read.
I just read 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' by Stieg Larson. It was pretty good, lots of characters and a few twists to the plot. Maybe some things were lost in translation from Swedish. Interestingly, Stieg Larson turned in manuscripts to his publisher:
'The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo', published in english this year
'The Girl that Plays with Fire', translated to English to be published next month
A third one that hasn't been translated yet 'Luftslottet som sprängdes '
Finally, the forth that hasn't even been published in Swedish yet, I am not too sure if it was completed.
He intended to publish ten books in this series and had outlines for the fifth and sixth.
Larson was a healthy man of fifty and shortly after he turned his manuscripts in to his publisher he died of a massive heart attack. Conspiracy theories abound.
Just dropping in to say I'll be leaving my discussion about All U Can Eat either later today or tomorrow at the latest
FF, Stieg Larson's book did have a few chapters referring to BDSM, it was not the theme of the story. I wouldn't recommend it as a book for a BDSM Book Club.
Thanks for asking my opinion. I would enjoy joining your group and reading the book of the upcoming month, it would be helpful if the library has it
I ordered my copy today! Half.com has a few copies for $1.25 or less; with shipping the total cost is less than $5. I usually buy books from this site because I like to own them and I'm not so good at returning books to the library without incurring major fees.
Half.com is an ebay site, so if you choose to order from a seller make sure to check their feedback score. Also, it can take up to a couple weeks to receive an order because they ship via media mail.
