You have to remember I was out with 10 other guys that all work construction. Our day to day conversations make Lit look like a PG-13 site. There was no way I was going to hook up something that looks like a strap-on and then add a 6 foot pole to it. One of the guys did, and I'm sure his face is still red from all the bs the other guys gave him .

They are called Rockfish or Striper around here, they are also known as Sea bass in other areas. I only got to keep the filets from one of my fish since I had to share with the one guy that caught one that was too small to keep. The limit was one fish per person, so it all worked out.

It was a little cold and windy, so I was wearing lots of clothes and had one of my thermal rags that came untied, but then again, I was fishing with a bunch of hairy construction guys, so I wasn't exactly trying to profile, so here they are.

We call 'em stripers up here Joe.. nice fish what's the limit?

yea it happens.. I left out yesterday and when I got back the temp dropped 12 degrees ...and NOW where I am it's in the 80's and the bike is 5000 miles away

Uh, no. Just a bunch of hairy construction workers. And if there had been any bikini clad biker chicks out there, we would have been taking them in to get the frostbite on thier nipples treated. It was alittle cold out on the water.

Well it's official now...I am no longer a virgin to the bike ride in the rain...

What started as a nice partly cloudy day...great ride to a fantastic biker bar north
of town.... about 50 miles north...came back on a wonderful windy road...then the rain came....GUESS WHAT???? Rain here is freaking cold.....and then it hailed a little bit...then more rain....as we hit the freeway to try to out run it....it came down in torrents...and of course, no where to pull off. As we hit the north end of town...cars were throwing rooster tails on us from puddles on the highway...we finally made it off at an exit with a gas station with covered pumps....

....ahhhh new experiences....gotta love them!
