My first visit to boston was in 80.... i was doing youth camps in Duxbury during college break.... fell in love with it all.... not sure why i came back....

I do remember i hitched though.... *chuckle* oh the days.....

yes.... and so many twisties up that way... most of our stuff is headlong here... i miss that too....

Safer times... friendlier.... but i still love it all... do i care if strangers look at me when i smile and say hello.... Nope! Just a friendly hick from the midwest.... *grin*

Wish i could have afforded to stay out that way... durn pricey... even then. So worth it though! B...E...A....utiful!

Was a good day. I had to go to school to start with, but that wasn't a big deal. I just did some grinding on my bronze piece all day.

Special dinner?...well my mom came to pic me up from school so she could take me shopping and then we had chinese food.(Which is from a REALLY good place here in town so yeah that was special)

Presents? Well to start with Mom came to see the gallery at school and got to meet my friends. She also brought a cake and the ones that were left by then got to share it and we all had fun with that.(The ones who left right at 12 were out of luck LOL) The REALLY funny part of that time was that they started to sing "Happy Birthday" to me, but despite them knowing me for almost a year now and them being my best buddies in there they got to the part in the song with my name and all three seemed to draw a total blank ROFLMAO!!! They all wished me Happy Birthday and gave me a huge.....well the women did LOL.

Mom also got a special gift from my friends when some of them said she looked too young to be my Mom.

Once I got home and got on Lit I had lots of posts from friends wishing me Happy Birthday. One friend posted a pic of a stripper and said "Happy Birthday". Another friend said "Happy Birthday" and posted an amazing pic of herself wrapped in a big bow......and ONLY the bow.(She always knows just what I want)

So yes I've had a very good day.

I just flew back cross country with some guys that were at Laughlin.. they said it was GREAT ..
