The Bondage Thread Q&A

I bought leather and D-rings, rivets, buckles, etc. from Tandy leather and made a set of locking wrist and ankle cuffs that work quite well and get more comfortable every time they are used.

We also bought a set of 4 small padlocks that are all keyed alike. One key is frozen in a cup of water in the freezer as a back up.

My partner is claustrophobic so the Saran wrap idea is out.

As for rope, I don't like intricate rope bondage for the reasons mentioned above but I do like short lengths of climbing rope for crotch ropes, etc.

We used to have an old full-wave water bed with the pedestal base. We pulled back the corners of the mattress and installed eye-hooks in the corners. They almost look like they belong there!

Has anyone ever used bubble wrap? That seems like an interesting possibility.

oh Sam - just think you could wrap Caroline up and then roll her aornd making little popping sounds! (sorry a totally silly image came into my head when I read this)

but then I supouse with a bit of practise the popping of the air bubbles could produce lots of minature little snaps on the bound persons skin - mmmmm maybe it is worth a shot

I was thinking that you might wrap someone in bubblewrap and then pop the bubbles with a whip.

hmmmm... interesting concept (nah nah nah nah sams is now totally a pervert [ment in the most caring way]) i kinda like it, no i like it alot, to bad i don't know anybody that good with a single tail (other than my father and i am not going to ask him to pop bubble wrap on or off me).

What the hell, lets try it.

Finally, at long last, the parcel we have been waiting for arrived this morning.

Though we really cannot afford it, Master bought me a leather collar with 3 D rings; leather ankle and wrist cuffs (and some rope!)

The collar seems soft enough to wear with no problem.

However, the wrist and ankle cuffs seem really stiff.

Please - those of you who have had cuffs for ages, is there a way of softening the leather?
Ohhhh and how should I care for it?

Any pointers would be much appreciated :D

And I can hardly wait for an opportunity to give them a trial run :p

Willow I'm sure someone on here can give you a better answer but what about dubbin - the stuff you use on leather walking boots, or alternativly you can get leather care stuff for leather sofas which is considerably cheaper than specialist stuff for clothing - I'm geting some to use onm my leather ocat which needs softening

Uhoh, why do I have this sudden urge to eat lettuce and run on a treadmill?
Oh yeah, because I think I am being turned into a guinea pig.;)

Hahaha. I like that idea, gonna get me a giant treadmill.

Willow I would really like a pair of restraints like that. I bought Himself a cat (cat-o-nine tails) on ebay before they were unfriendly and it was very stiff. He was afraid that it would cut the skin so he had me get some leather softener from Wal-Mart. It comes in a bottle and is somewhat oil based but creamy. I put it on the cat and put it in a plastic bag for a couple of days and when I took it out it was much smoother.

I do like the feel of rope on my skin. I like feel of it when he binds my breasts. I have a tendency to briuse very easily because of a medication I am on so I made these our of rope. They are wide enough that they don't leave too much of a mark unless I am pulling really hard on them.

Thanks petrel and cellis.

I have some balm that I have used on the leather suite we have - I will try that.

cellis - those are beautifully crafted. Must have taken you some time to do. Its been ages since I've done knotting work like that.
