*sigh* Old timers and their short-term memories

We (Mat, Cloudy, and I) were waiting to be seated at the restaurant, and I popped out of line to go to the ladies' room. Cloudy followed. So, I winked at Mat and said, "We're going to go kiss some more in the bathroom."

After we'd gone, the fellow in line behind Mat hitched up his jeans by the belt and drawled, "That was more than I needed to know." She informed him that I was just kidding, but he replied, "Where there's smoke, there's fire." Oh, well ... :p

That first comment, young lady was out of line.*smack*.....but so damn true.

At the time, it was hilarious, the look on the guy's face when he heard this, and watched these two women disappear into the ladies.......I'm sure I blushed profusely when he turned to look at me and started talking. I was never so relieved as when they took him to his table !!!

Whilst I'm working on the next piece of my journal, a few photographs:

Charley1 - during my walk along the waterfront at NYC, a very upfront and in your face local.......we all know why I named him/her Charley.

Manhattan at play - afternoon, post lunch, as I went back to my hotel to nap, this large green area, close to a whole bunch of schools, all the kids out playing - frisbees, and all sorts of stuff. Very un-city, made me smile.

Woolworth building - taken during our walk around Manhattan on the Saturday morning. Awesome.

Flower Beech Forest and Lake Beech Forest, both taken during mine and Cloudy's walk through this beautiful part of the sand dune natural reserve behind Provincetown. Lush and desert like all at the same time. And the heat. Yowser, the sand on the pathways was way too hot to walk on, at least for me.

LOL

Thanks for telling. I can imagine his face.

Is the Woolworth building neo-Gothic or something?
I noticed the fine stone lacework above the windows. But I never know what is Gothic and what is Roman.

Beautiful pictures. Makes me think I should use the camera more.

:D
