Moving, traveling and not feeling well? You are a glutton from punishment.

Thing about the US is that it is so huge that it takes forever to really see it. Every state has something to see and some of the states could take weeks to really feel like you saw some of what there is to see and experience.

Yes, same with anywhere really I think. It annoys me people who say they've seen a place, on a week end break, say.

I'm not feeling unwell as such, just some long term problems that would make things tricky.

My daughter used to have a picture on her door of a worried looking lemur and a caption that said some thing like my life would be empty without stress. I'm going to be travelling about a bit. I wanted to visit the US but I'm not really well enough unfortunately.

It always amazes me that I can spend 30 years living somewhere and realize that I never saw a lot of the place. And I am talking about a county, not a country. LOL

But when one is working, there doesn't seem to be the time or energy to be a sightseer. So I am glad you are getting a chance to peek into the corners of England.

the Inn is quite this morning as I make my way down from my loft, the sun just creeping over the horizon. Fall is coming as dawn is a little later each days as they begin their march towards the winter solaces.


I pour a mug of coffee and sighs so many old friends gone, or who have moved on or have out ground the Inn. Taking pen and paper to hand I settle down to answer one or two naughty young ladies posts and to bedevil their young beauties.

Morning to any who may be about and to those that hide in the shadows.


I blow a kiss to the rafters and the sensual young redheaded nymphs that so delightfully haunts them

Well, I’ve just had my first exercise in ‘Command’ and it’s ‘’Mission Accomplished!’ All ‘hostages’ released, and all ‘terrorists’ either ‘dead’ or ‘captured’. We sustained no losses.

I’m letting the cohort sleep tonight before the CO addresses us by video link tomorrow.

But I still miss being in the thick of things.

I know you rather be in the field, but at some time in our careers we do have to move on to ops centers, not just when you are carrying a cub.

As was shown in this exercise your field experience and your ability to see the action in your mind's eye led to mission success. Again well done G G .

I’ve served under Lt GG and she is a genius! I wasn’t on this exercise because with BritSal I’m getting ready to begin classes at OTS but I can imagine how professional she is. And I know about her courage in the field, I heard of her actions at the beginning of the year being prepared to use her body as a shield to save a patient’s life.

Lt GG says she’ll be calling me Ma’min five years - NO WAY! I bet she’ll be at NRR HQ Washington by then. Just watch this space!
