I can't contain my smile as CG wraps me in his arms, making me feel like I'm home.

So much has happened, I muse. I have a beautiful little boy who has just turned one and he has his mom wrapped around his little pinkie. over here it is Spring, and I love the new blooms, the glorious trees and the blue sky.

But tell me about yourself CG, I say, wrapping my hands around his, tenderly. How is my favourite innkeeper?

Linked arm in arm with Dee’s soft fragrance filling my nostrils I lead her to my old leather chair and as I sit I draw her on to my lap.

A little boy Dee I am sure he keeps you quite busy.

Well as for me much the same as always a little writing s, some puttering in the garden and as always the Inn. I am enjoying Autumn in my White Mountains and am looking forward to winter and the first snows.

I am sitting on CG's lap, wrapping my arms around his neck and relishing in the moment - while the dragons of the real world are glaring at me from one of the open windows.

I am afraid I have to go, CG, I say softly, pressing a soft and lingering kiss to his cheek.

Please take care and post us a photo of your lovely mountains in their autumn colours.

My form slowly evaporates into a black mist, swirling around CG in a soft caress before I disappear into the sunlight, the scent of a Highveld thunderstorm lingering in the air...

Warm memories of Dee's visit lift my spirits in an otherwise dark day as I watch my Nation self destruct. It leaves me in a mood that is hard to write or create.

And honestly some times I think my two dogs could run the US better....
But let us not worry about that here.

Watching Star Trek on Netflix today..
Ya know that show gives some small hope that human kind might... Might do better some where down the road...
Though Honestly I see us going more the way of Babylon 5 or Star Wars in terms of how the Galaxy will look once we start exploring space.
Our first contact will probably end up like the Aliens or The the Human/Turian War from Mass Effect, or the war with the Minbari from Babylon 5.

Anyway, yeah I'll be back in like a hour and 10 min, see you then!

The day dawns crisp and cool as tendrils of fog drift by the Inn's windows. the rich musky fragrance of the fall forest mingles with fresh brewed coffee. With a steaming mug of coffee and pen and paper in hand I settle in my old leather chair by the hearth.

I stroll into the China Pearl Inn, absentmindedly nibbling the back of a pen as I contemplate a piece of writing. I languidly pour myself a glass of red wine and sink into a chair, safely ensconced within the warmth of the inn.
