I hope so. They were working after all.
It’s only 07:20 hours here in California so the day is young. Going to get a good breakfast (I love billeting with the Americans, they feed us well) then we’re going to watch the football.
SF, it’s part of their role to be in mufti at times like this and mix in. They’ve got a very special surprise coming their way when they get back to base. We’re very proud of them.

We’ve been up since silly o clock to watch the wedding! Now we’re off to spend some your tax dollars in the canteen. Yes the girls are playing cricket tomorrow and we have eaten cricket - great source of protein if you’re stuck in the wild somewhere. Taste a little like stale peanuts.

The wedding was at a more civilized hour on the east coast. I am surprised they bothered going to bed on the west.

Back to base tired but satisfied we have a completed our task. Got to see the Principal on Monday who has some ‘news’ for us.
Tomorrow we have our cricket match against a combined pub team.
Monday we have parachute training - to see if we’ve remembered how to pack them - then Tuesday we jump in Europe and we’ll be thinking of CG undergoing his surgery. I get the feeling us girls are in for a hard time once he’s fit!
LF, I won’t be able to post in Charlotte’s Conversion tonight - I’m Jacobed!

Hmmm will staring at the wall help you focus, or do you need to do something totally different than writing to get your mind off of writing, or do you need to eat something and get some creative juices to the brain?

Yep, makes perfectly good sense. I have trouble focusing on the one story I write, I can't imagine juggling multiple stories.
