But I would point out it’s the ordinary ‘flat hat sailor’ who was ‘scared every second’ that made the United States the great nation it is today. Do you think we’re not scared? Sometimes I’m terrified. But you are still serving now and I refuse to withdraw anything I said.

That is good to hear about your back. Been a nice day here. Unfortunately it is going to heat up horribly next week, so I am enjoying today.

Do you have A/C you can hide in? We were talking about temps over there today and us visitors. I remember going to FL in Dec one year, it was in 70's there. Summer for us Locals thought it was chilly.

Yes I do have ac. When I moved in two years ago they were having record heat so ac went in quickly. Temperature is definitely different depending on where one is from. Coming from southern California anything under 60 was considered freezing and anything over 85 was boiling. My sister has been in Montana for a few years and she wears shorts when it is forty.

This house is pretty good though. I have porches on the north and south sides and that keeps the house cooler than outside. Still, once it gets to be about 85 outside, the inside gets hot also. Then the ac comes on.
