nuh uh...

you mentioned ear wax in the first place.

I can't help my curious mind.

I understand that, Curiosity is an admirable trait. Hell I'm always the curious type. It's curiosity that helped us go to the moon and try a new dish and....

What the hell was I talking about again?

Oh yeah, the least you could your sorry. If I made you think of something awful... I'd laugh for a bit but I'd at least apologize.

I was too busy being defensive and that's your fault for putting me there.

Still... *sniffle*

I'm sorry I make you think of something awful. *offers a hug*

And it's still your fault

Squirrels, actually. Totally didn't see it coming.

Turns out, once they took over control of the acorns, it was just a matter of time before everything else fell into place.

That's what all that damn chittering in the oak trees was about this morning. I should have realized.

It was quick and... bruisey.

Yup. *nods sadly* Spreading the word. Apparently October 1st was S-Day. You guys should enjoy your couple more hours of freedom while you still have it. It's all acorn harvesting and tree planting from here on out.

Not exactly, time can be rewritten. We may need some help.

As they say, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

It's a nice thought, but we already tried that here.

We kept trying to tell them that we needed help with the squirrels, but they just kept asking, "Who?"

Well then I guess we'll just have to poison their nuts.... wait.

They've got sentries posted. :(

The best we can come up with is waiting until winter, and then attacking when they're hibernating.

But, we're worried they may have thought of that already and set some kind of.. acorny trap for us.

We may need someone on the inside.

Well soon it will be squirrels who will choking on their nuts.

Hey, why are you laughing?

*rubs a hand over her face*

Who's laughing?

And those trees are pretty deep. I saw one of them scampering up a tree with some rope in his mouth yesterday morning. And when the harvest moon came up, I saw shadows on the tree limbs.
