Here we are in late summer already. The Dew Drop Inn will not be opening this year. Computer problems have kept me away. I am considering opening a winter ski chalet type thread. My hope is that I will have a continuous access to a computer. To this date that is honestly not known.

To those I have written with, I thank you. I will make every effort to stay in touch. I want nothing more then to write with all the fine writer here on LIT.

The Surf Bar

We at the Dew Drop Inn are pleased to announce the The Surf Bar will opening on time on April 1. There was some question if the room would be ready because of renovations that are being made. The contractor ensures me he will be done and the room will be ready by April 1.

Other news: we are working on a new menu for the restaurant. Anyone wishing to give us some feedback on what they would like to see on the menu would be welcome.

The police have just left and the damages to the wall and bed will be added to your credit card. And next time please advise the desk clerk if any additional guests will be staying with you. And no the dwarf can not get half off. And as I reminded you, no animals are allowed in your room. Pygmy goats are still animals and not allowed to graze on the balcony or the roof. And the tub is not a shuffle board court!

"Ah yes, how may I be of some assistance?"He smiles at the lady.

"Our fireballs are very good, would you like me to order one for you?"

 

[LadyCara]

"I'd love a fireball, thank you." The red head says, "do you mind bringing it to me over there by the window. I would like to admire the view." both inside and out.

I move over to the leather sofa, enjoying the feeling of it beneath my skin and wonder what some of the attachments are, but thinking it better not to ask, at least, not for now.

one fireball

Mr Brightwell slides in behind the bar. He picks up the Cinnamon schnapps and pours the red liquor in to a glass. Then added a single ice cube. Found a swizzle stick and slowly stured the drink while looking at the custome. After a few seconds he picks up a small bottle of Tabasco and twists off the cap. He watches as three small drops land in the drink. He replaces the cap and places the bottle behind the bar. He sturs the drink again.

"he you are dear lady....a fireball!"

 

[LadyCara]

Cara accepts the drink taking a cautious sip, noting the unusual taste and finding warmth spreading through her.

"Thank you." she says, taking another sip and relaxing with it into the sofa.

"If there is anything i'll let you know." Cara smiles sweetly.
