Let's give it some legs

*dropping in and making an obscure association, for the sake of them there good ol' days*:D

Fluroxypyr

:D

Diphosphorpentoxid

(German for Diphosphorus Pentoxide. Was always my favorite word in Chem class. I dunno what yours means, but I associate complicated word with other complicated word. :D)

dessicated

btw, Fluroxypyr is a herbicide much favored by those who want to transform the Garden of Eden into a WalMart parking lot. It deflowers, defoliates, and assasinates plant life.

s'mores

(For those non-American campers, they are roasted marshmallow sandwiches formed by smashing said marshmallow between two squares of graham cracker and a square of chocolate bar. You eat them by the campfire and get all dirty and sticky, but you don't care because it's dark and you can't see a thing. I don't like them, I like my chocolate separate, my marshmallow separate and my graham with milk. :))

bread on a stick

I hate marshmallows, but I'll eat them in the s'mores my husband makes me. :) But Grahams with milk are awesome, too.

We don't really know/eat s'mores in Germany. When I was at summer camp, we'd always put raw bread dough on a stick and bake it until it was done. Delicious, freshly baked bread. *sighs*

Did you make your bread-on-a-stick with a somewhat bulbous head and two puffy little balls at the bottom? :0

I am completely stumped! When we were in Germany you could get these pretzel dough type rolls that had been gored (hollowed out) and a foot long weiner was inserted with ketchup. They were very yummy and phallic! I can't remember what they were called.

Oh, what I wouldn't give for a good German pretzel! So, I'll go with ......

PRETZEL
