The Election Steal Is Already Underway

Democrats have asked the Wisconsin Supreme Court to block Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein and her running mate, Butch Ware, from the Badger State’s November ballot.
Wisconsin state law stipulates that people who nominate presidential electors for a candidate be either state officers (members of the state legislature, judges, etc.) or candidates for the Legislature. The Get-Republicans-Elected-Every-November (GREEN) Party has no one who fits that description, so they don't qualify for the ballot.

Are the Dems acting in their self-interest in trying to keep Stein off the ballot? Sure, but they do have a solid argument behind their case, which of course your link ignores.

Wrong guide has information that is misleading??

I’m waiting for the thread where he declares his candidate is far ahead in the polls since he gets to add RFK jr tally to his… doesn’t work that way. But there will be a truth social post about it soon too I’m sure… if not already there.

Dam, that sure sounds like some kind of exclusive club for "members only" interfering in the elections by "pre-selecting" who can, and who can't, be nominated.

Think about it, if all the people who can nominate someone are white supremacists, ain't no black candidate EVER going to get on the ballot.

Now do the same exercise if they're all Democrats...

You quoting GatewayPundit again? Get a grip.

Then ask yourself why Ken Paxton the ATTORNEY GENERAL OF TEXAS not only had to pay $300K restitution to the people he defrauded, he also had to do 100 hours of community service. But best of all, had to take 15 hours of ethics class.

Remedial legal education ordered (and accepted as part of a guilty plea) for the Felon-supporting State Attorney General.
Now you can roll your head back and laugh with the rest of us.

@HisArpy – FYI. Paxton was charged and copped a plea to save his ass. So, is that a typical criminal type in charge of defending the public from criminals? You're defending such a miscreant? What kind of cheating spouse has his wife, a member of the legislature, voting on his guilt/innocence? She didn't recuse herself? It must be Texas!

So you are describing MAGA…that was fun.

Thanks for saying the quiet part out loud. You always seem to desire to go back to the time when you didn’t have to be quiet about that part.

We won’t go back!

Paxton is only 1 individual out of 300+ million. If you form your opinions on that kind of percentage, I'd hate to see what you reject because it's just not plausible.

Meanwhile...

Both of which, and many more if you care to do your own research, PROVE that the party of white masters is Democrat.
Dixiecrats yes. Thanks for the Wikipedia entry…doesn’t really qualify to support but I can see how you would think it would.

Today’s Republican’ts are FAR from the party of Lincoln that was expanding voting rights… today’s version is trying to limit rights of voters.

So fun when folks try this argument and be so wrong….go issue by issue.

Today who is for limited government? Who was back then? (Where are/were the white supremacists? In both groups…)

SCOTUS Gives Go Ahead to Arizona Voter Citizenship Requirement

1 Comment / By Alec Johnson / August 23, 2024

One of the strangest things in American politics is the partisan debate over the issue of whether voters should have to produce identification when they show up at the polls. Democrat politicos constantly argue against states that want to require ID to vote in elections, branding those efforts as “racist.”

It’s never explained, of course, why asking for a driver’s license or state ID card disadvantages black or Hispanic voters.. But the way Democrats talk you’d think it was the equivalent of a poll tax designed to keep “po, ignunt” black folks from being able to exercise their franchise.

But how? Do black people truly not have driver’s licenses? Is there something about being dark-skinned that makes it hard or impossible to get the standard ID that everyone uses daily to buy booze, or cigarettes, or any other adult item? Obviously not, but in a country where the left half is primed to see whites as devils fixin’ to git them blacks, it plays well.

Vice President and now Democrat Party presidential nominee—she who has suddenly “become black” despite building her image on her Indian heritage on her mother’s side—Kamal Harris recently came under fire for requiring identification to enter one of her rallies in Phoenix. The least-popular vice president in history has a history of calling voter ID laws racist.

Soon this thread will be rife with the smell of wet diapers after this news.

This is a sub-rosa attempt to prevent divorced women from voting

Many women, particularly younger women, opt to reclaim their maiden names after divorce.

They get their names changed on their drivers license, but don't change their legal name on voting rolls.

They attempt to show up to vote, and since there is no "exact match" between the driver's license and the legal name on the poll register anymore, they are told they cannot vote.

Yes it is. Your sources simply ignore the explanation because it would defeat their argument.

Not quite equivalent, but with the same effect. For a variety of reasons, Black voters are less likely to have the documentation necessary to get a photo ID. It ain't brain surgery.

But how? Do black people truly not have driver’s licenses?
In big cities with public transportation and everything you need within walking distance, many don't. Especially poorer ones who couldn't afford a car - why bother getting a license then?
Is there something about being dark-skinned that makes it hard or impossible to get the standard ID that everyone uses daily to buy booze, or cigarettes, or any other adult item?
In many places, yes, thanks to right-wing machinations like closing down DMV offices in predominantly Black areas, and the aforementioned tendency to not have a birth certificate. Besides, Wrongguide, when was the last time you were carded while buying beer? I'm younger than you and I can only think of one time in the past twenty years.

Obviously not, but in a country where the left half is primed to see whites as devils fixin’ to git them blacks, it plays well.
Ah yes, the "there you go again" trick. Works on the deplorables every time.

I thought "republicans" were all about following election laws and rules???

🤔

Huh…I guess not…

😑

And the MAGA filled Georgia state election board is doing its best plug in rules so they can not certify election results they don’t like.

I'll note that we're four pages into this thread and nobody has cited a single source that supports the accusation that somebody is trying to steal the election from Donald Trump.

If you look at the source about Ohio, and you multiply the total number of people under threat of prosecution for illegally registering to vote in that state (just under 600) by 30, which is the factor by which the US population is greater than that of Ohio's, you get a grand total of about 18,000 people across the whole country. Yes, vote fraud happens. No, there is no grand conspiracy to steal the election.

It didn't happen in 2020, and it's not happening now.

Evidence. It's a vexing thing.

Par for the course around here.

And sadly, typical of the poster who started this thread. Which is why oftentimes there is so much frustration among the posters in this forum.
