The Five Stages of MAGA Grief

Ahhh, but the subtle difference. Forewarning vs Promotion. I am NOT promoting this. I'm saying that this will happen, one way or the other.
You sound a lot like Bill Clinton with that sort of defensive hair splitting.

No, Scumbag, 50 million migrants in the USA are not going to be SHOT, as you so violently stated.

LOL. Hopefully deported, that's a LOT of landfill. We'd have to bring in IG Farben to help deal with that sort of scale.

Donald Trump's followers have suffered a severe ego wound. Their entire world is crumbling around them. For most people, politics aren't central to their identity. They can walk away from a loss at the ballot box relatively unscathed. For example, I was disappointed when Hillary Clinton lost in 2016, but it didn't crush me. Being a Hillary supporter wasn't central to my identity.

Trump supporters are different. They can't just switch their allegiance to a different Republican. Supporting anyone else is unthinkable.

Donald Trump's felony convictions are forcing them into the five stages of grief. Mostly what we're seeing on the Politics Board right now is Denial and Bargaining: The news media is lying. There's some clever technicality that proves the trial was a sham. The Supreme Court will swoop in and save him. The dangerous point comes when they move on to Anger. In the real world we may see actual violence -- attempted assassinations of the authorities holding Trump to account. But here on the Politics board we'll just see a lot more acting out -- nihilistic posts about how everything is a joke or America is completely broken.

Hopefully as soon as possible, MAGA can work through their collective anger to get to Depression and Acceptance. Then we'll see a lot of conservative posters wandering away or going silent, too beaten down and ashamed to keep up a losing fight.

Finally, once they work through their grief over Trump, they can start posting again about real political issues.
You are just a fucking moron, next time dont buy a law license at Target. He is not convicted nor a felon until after he is sentenced. GOT IT BITCH?

I will go to my grave unsure of why or how Trump became so central to the sense of self or identity or purpose of so many who didn't even care much about him in 2015. Then again, I never grasped the level of personal hostility to him, either. He's not a personal enemy of mine. He's just unfit to be President, and that was true in 2016/2017, even truer now due to his dementia and senility.

I have had schadenfreude over the weeping and wailing about him from both sides. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst. We'll be okay at some point, but it could suck first. We'll see.

It's not that hard to understand. Trump went into 2016 as a bit of a joke, not expecting in the slightest to emerge as the winner for the GOP nomination. Somehow, and I have no idea how, he picked up Bannon and a few other people and latched on to illegal aliens and job outsourcing killing American jobs - and I doubt that was Trump initially. I think Bannon but I'm no expert. BUT Trump IS a people person, he knows how to work a crowd and play the media, and the media loved him and saw him as the perfect guy to crush Jeb Bush the RINO and Ted Cruz the extremist. So they played him up. And Trump grew into the candidacy.

He came to understand the issues, he talked to them, he saw the support that was generated, and he evolved his views as the campaign went on. Things like Hillary calling his supporters Deplorables only helped, because they inspired and motivated all the people who were left out and ignored by the Uniparty - the Democrats and the RINO's. He articulated their views, their outrage and hostility to the changes being foisted onto us by the Democrats and the quisling RINO's who caved to them on every issue. Trump was the antithesis of Romney, McCain and Jeb Bush, and us Deplorables loved him for what he was. And is. He articulated OUR views, and above all else he was a big Fuck You to the Uniparty.

I voted GOP in 2012, the first elections I could vote in, and I couldnt stand Romey but I held my nose and voted for him. 2020 I voted Cruz in the primary but as I watched Trump, I really supported what he stood for and articulated. It was pretty obvious he was as surprised as anyone that he won the 2016 election, and he really wasn't prepared for the Presidency. The GOP completely let him down with support and with the people they recommended, and the GOP in the Senate and the House, largely all the fucking RINO's backstabbed him and worked against him all the fucking time, and then you had all the Democrat lawfare as well. So that just cemented his support within the GOP, and even after he the 2020 election was stolen from him, by the Democrats and the useless RINO's, he kept on fighting. For us! For the American people.

In the last 4 years he's reshaped the GOP into a party I don't have to hold my nose to vote for. He's been instrumental in RINO's like that fuckface Cheney being dumped, may she burn in hell, and a lot of great candidates coming forward who represent America and the American people rather than the elites. He fighst for what WE believe in, and he has OUR interests, the interests of the American people, at heart. He's not a criminal scam artist like the Clintons or the Bidens, he's not a puppet of the Deep State like Harris (spits), he's a political outsider, he represents us and our views, and he's unbelievably strong to keep on fighting the way he has, surviving THREE assassination attempts as well as all the fake impeachment and made up shit the Democrat traitors keep throwing at him.

That they have done all this to him and he's still in there, fighting for the American people, makes him a genuine hero in my eyes. When he becomes the next President, I have no doubt that the Democrats will try and assassinate him again, if they don't beforehand, and if they're stupid enough to take a martyr of him, which they likely will try to do given the gutting of the Deep State and the arrests that are coming once JD, Vivek, Elon, Kennedy and Gabbard are in there working with and for him.

So why is he so central to the sense of self or identity or purpose of so many who didn't even care much about him in 2015> Because he represents us, our views, and he's a fighter who has never stopped fighting against the scum that infest the Democrat and Republican Party's. Thanks to him, a lot of the RINO scum are gone, people like JD and DeSantis are the future of the GOP, and the GOP is more and more an America First political party that places Americans and American jobs first and foremost.

By way of contrast, the flood of illegals under Biden/Harris, the inflationary economy that has gutted peoples finances, killed affordable housing, pushed up the cost of living, and now the casual fuck you to Georgia and North Carolina just illustrates very clearly that Democrats do not give a flying fuck for America and Americans.

The contrast could not be clearer.

Hope that helps you understand.

Huh? Conviction and sentencing, although obviously related, are two different things. Once you're convicted, you're convicted, whether or not sentencing ever even happens.

You are just a fucking moron...GOT IT BITCH?

They can't be bought because they bought the SCROTUS. They don't lie—actually they do, they just project that the other side does. They put America First—yep, right in their pocket.

Derp video

Fixed it for you, Comrade Ting Pang Zhao.

Your two comments did help me understand.

I understand you are a gullible dimwit. 😆

Bubba, Target has stopped selling law licenses. :sneaky: To help you out, your are confused about sentencing making one a convicted felon. It's not the case. Ask, @HisArphy for clarification.

However, anyone can search for the easy-to-find answer about being convicted or being a felon status. Conviction and felon status occur when guilt is determined through trial or a guilty plea. That's determined the day the twelve jurors concurred that Trump was guilty on all felony counts.

Sentencing doesn't determine the conviction status. It determines the punishment phase—a totally different animal. In Trump's case, sentencing has been delayed. Strange, as most criminals are not given some leeway in their sentencing because they are 'so special' and running for POTUS.

Keep seeing more and more of this in the news. People are waking up to the leftist/democrat insanity. Leftists/democrats have yet to realize that just because they're loud, doesn't mean they're popular or the majority.
Both sides are obnoxious at the extremes.

The western Roman Empire fell because the Romans were high-handed in dealing with the Goths and Vandals fleeing from Attila the Hun. If they’d turned them into foederati and given them a route to citizenship the western empire could have ridden out the storm, like the east did. The Gothic kingdom that Odoacer established in Italy after the fall is proof of this. He ruled in the name of the emperor in Constantinople. He didn’t want to destroy the empire, he wanted to be part of it.

Immigrants are the backbone of America. Demonizing them will cause the downfall of the Republic.
No. They are not.

Law-abiding legal citizens are the sole backbone of this Republic.

It is the viewpoints of the altruistic which have led us to the brink of Socialism and the demise of the Republic.

That is a horrible fallacy: misdirection

Look over there!
Bright! Shiny!
B-b-but...

... what about?

You’re right! Immigrants are horrible people! Well, maybe just these three assholes.
