My brother is RETARDED!!! Okay, so he was drinking with minors AGAIN, and then they all decided to go for a joy ride while drunk and also high on pills... Then they decided to spin cookies in the car on an empty street, but it wasn't empty -- there was a cop in the shadows. They all got arrested, and since Nic bought the pills and alcohol, he got slammed with another delinquincy of a minor charge. He's looking at a minimum of six months in jail for sure this time. If his child record comes up or and they slap other stuff on him, he could get sent to prison for over a year. We'll see, the court hearing is tomorrow.

If I did another Titans thread, who all would play? I demand that Remec play Beast Boy and Tears play Supergirl or I will not restart it .

If I do restart Titans, I'll most likely play Nightwing and Cyborg as my main good guys, and probably Slade, Brother Blood, and some other baddies. I'm also gonna play a slew of other characters, both DC and custom, for the purpose of dramatic effect, number of team members, and occasional deaths, that way they can still suffer casualties without us losing our main chars.

Hmmm... Maybe the starting story arc of the game could be the Titans discovering the location of the Hive Academy after six months of searching, where they discover Headmaster Slade Wilson teaching young men and women to be villains, although he himself has no super powers at this point. He's just a master thief and a tech whiz. Then, during the raid of the academy, somehow something happens to turn Slade into Deathstroke, and he becomes slightly insane and bent on destroying the Titans.

After raiding Slade's office, they discover he was working for an organized crime system known as Ligerdine. Basically, Slade was training young individuals to be supervillains for Ligerdine. Unfortunately, there is no telling how deep their corruption goes. Secretly, Ligerdine associates are becoming cops, lawyers, and politicians. One of the academies may have been in New York City, but Ligerdine's corruption is nationwide. Some of their agents have even joined the military and made it to positions in the Pentagon. It's all part of a plan to make life harder for superheroes who don't ally themselves with the government.

How could they possibly deal with this large a threat? Maybe they discover Ligerdine agents have a special implant in their brain to allow them to speak to each other telepathically, and maybe they also discover a way to send a signal that makes everyone with that implant go crazy, like a thousand super-powered dog whistles inside their heads or something.

Kimmy, that would be AWESOME if you did Starfire. I still remember how flawlessly you portrayed her in my first Titans game. And Kiwi, you can play both Jinx and Raven if you want.

Well, we have all been talking, and the plan is that once my brother gets out of jail or off probation or whatever, him and I are moving back to Florida. I told all the girls I have met online that are interested in me that if they want to claim me, they have to come to Florida, cuz once I move back I am never moving away again.

I'm cool either way. I'll wait and see what sort of background/history you give the campaign world in the OOC so I know how canonical I want to make BB's own origin. For the record, my starting point is always the comic background since I've never managed to watch enough of the manga-styled cartoon to get a firm sense of exposition on any of the characters with regard to where they came from--or where they're coming from, if you know what I mean. *g*

It's prolly gonna take place in NYC, and the team has been together for about six months, every since Nightwing gathered together the heroes of the town that he knew he could trust to form a team to help him track down the secret academy where all these villains are supposedly being trained. The game would pick up the day of the raid on the academy, the location being discovered just the night before. Hmmm.. Let's skip the childhood friend thing so that we can do our own bios, but maybe have them be friends and crime fighting buddies prior to the team up?

Hmm... My friend Kit suggested I make multiple threads for various parts of the city to avoid the flooding we had before. What do you guys think? We could always keep the game private, just for us.
