The Jeffinator's Lounge

Kitsune called me this morning, and we had a wonderful chat. Now if I can just get her to come to Lit more often, hehe.

Hey Jeff

Glad to see you're still about and getting pissed. When are you gonna cook up a thread with some kink in it for me? :p

Seriously, glad you enjoyed your work party and that you're having fun here on Lit.

I know absolutely nothing about this Shu person but people generally have their own reasons for staying or going and it's usually to do with aspects of their RL that online people know nothing about. Just let it wash man. Que sera sera.

Well, Shuu and I worked things out, and after mind control -- I mean, severe pursuation -- she agreed to take Terra back.

Hiya Velvie! What type of kinky ideas did you have in mind, hmm?

Ah I dunno. I liked the whole submissive Navi thing before but I don't know that much about other computer games and your threads seem to be game or comic based. Can't see myself in the Pokemon thread.

Hmmmmm....

I only bought my N64 for Zelda and apart from updated incarnations of the game I have never really gotten into anything else with half as much enthusiasm. I'm not really a gamer.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The BEST and WORST game for the N64 *cackles madly*

also...you're both retarded....not only did one of you misspell persuasion, the other misspelled spelled......

it's actually rather selfexplanatory, if you think about it. However, I'll TRY to explain (I'm not very good at explanations)

Ocarina of Time is a stunning representation of the Legend of Zelda series. The first 3D one, it holds true to the style of combat prevalent in the series, the types of puzzles, and so on.

It's also the WORST N64 game because, let's face it, it can't hold a candle to previous incarnations of the Legend of Zelda series in terms of plot, gameplay, or anything else.

no i'm not retarded, that how we write it in english.

need I remind you that your language is the base form of ours? and spelt isn't proper spelling.

the only time I've ever seen ANYONE spell it the way you spelled it (even in people who live in England) is when they were using slang or had poor spelling skills to begin with (like a lot of the punks around Dubuque)

Actually, Spelt is right. You can say it spelled or spelt, depending on how you are using it. You can also do the same with burned and burnt and dreamed and dreamt. English genius here, remember?

except that in the case of the examples you listed, the tense is changed. In the case of the word spell, there's no change in tense.

the ED ending is used when referring to the act in past tense. The T ending is when referring to some effect of that word. "I burned the toast, the toast is burnt."
