I hear ya, Waja! I have started some really good threads with great writers, who aren't here any longer, with the exception of Dryfter here. Gods, I miss them. Ah well. What's a girl to do? The Lounge use to hop in its day. RL just came in and wiped us out.giggles at DW and nods lots and lots. I bet you can, Miss! And dryfter, don't feel bad about never finishing a thread. I've never finished one either.

DW and I have known each other here for a lotta years.... we are even friends on Facebook, and know each other's real names. It was thru me that she and Dryfter starting writing together... and they clicked, met, and now are married....

One of my dearest friends. Anywho, I know what you mean about a jerk face, kitty. I've met a few. However there was one in particular that just ruined things for a lot of us. Thankfully, I had some really good Lit friends that came to my aid. The biggest one was Ice. Many people called him a jerk face but a truer friend I couldn't ask for even if he did keep disappearing on me. That's okay though. He and I talked a lot on the phone too. He started trusting me with some stuff that I refuse to tell anyone. I guess that what makes us friends. He pops in here at rare occasions and leaves me flowers. He is who he is and I have always accepted him as such. Then there's Fr33k who also pops in. Another fantastic writer and one who can get twisted if need be. He's also a friend. I made him cookies he was craving for one year. I miss a lot of people from on here and many that I don't. Egos got in the way of the channel, but The Lounge is still here.

Ahhhh.... Ice.... I enjoyed my talks with Ice and writing with him. Never got as close to him as you DW... What I liked about Ice is he did not throw any punches... He was brutally honest and that was just OK by me....

I know, right?! I didn't take any of his crap either. He made me swear to keep his privacy and I always have. Always will. I do miss him. I keep tabs on him though. He sent me a text just as I was getting all the marriage stuff ready and I couldn't talk. One of these days though.
