I'm with Mav on this. Disagree. Heels, stocking and silk, lace or leather. So fun to peel it all off.... just mho. ;)

RAVEN!!! So good to see you again. The girls tell me all is well. So that's good.

*grins* I agree, especially if he's going to use his teeth or one of those steady, commanding don't-you-dare-look-away stares, while he peels them off.

The rest of the house was quiet and dark. Soft illumination radiated from one room, the study. The petite redhead sat at her desk, her head against her chair, eyes closed. She was listening to the quiet. One day, it would be too quiet. One day she would long for the daily noises. But for now, she savored the quiet, breathing it in, holding it for a moment before breathing it out.

She felt…… empty. Tonight. Just tonight. There was nothing left to give anyone. Tomorrow would be another day and she would rise and do what needed to be done and give what needed to be given.

She is Chalice.

Sip from me.

Take what is needed.

On the morrow I shall be as I need to be.

As always.

~ A spot of time, a sandwich and a tall glass of water sit on her desk. Idly, she pulls up her solo piece called Jungle Heat and lets her thoughts wander. She hasn't worked on this one for so long, it's about time she manages to add something to it. With one eye on her download for the PTR so she can go play a fighting panda, she sits back, munches on her sandwich contemplating her story...

She woke feeling like this day could hold anything at all. Every promise, every truth, anything was possible. Grabbing a cup of coffee and making her way into the study, she sat down at her computer and flipped it on, idly reading as the coffee worked into her system. The RW snatched her away for a bit of time but when she returned....

The cup was left half empty on her desktop. The door to the study patio left open. Sunshine beat into the room with its glorious warmth but she wasn't there. She was nowhere in the mansion.

Small feet carried her along the pathway to the cliffs. She stood on the edge gazing out to sea. Thinking. A riot of emotions was pouring through her. Words spoken late into the night whispering through her mind. Arms folded over her chest, she simply stared out at the calm waters, watching them gently roll as if they held the answers she sought.

She woke to sunshine and azure skies. At last! Today maybe she would weed the flowerbeds, getting them ready for some new flowers. Tulips came to mind. Her nose wrinkled at the thought of cleaning the small pond she built. Ick. But in the end, the results would be worth it.
