This is a really nice blue! I might have to see about buying it myself, too.

Certain blue and blueish purple nails always make me super aware of my nails and I feel like people are staring me (which is not true, of course), so it’s always a little…interesting for me to wear blue nails. Sometimes totally worth it, though.

It’s really kind of special.
I looked at it for months before buying because I can’t really argue that I need it, but Then I caved and bought it when Mr Althea The Enabler pointed out that they had 20% off at the shop.

Well I bought it as well, but I haven’t tried it yet.

It’s the blue polish I bought after seeing Iris post about it and I love the color!

It was difficult to get a pic that would show the little softer or more muted side of the color, though. Best look at the pic Iris posted.

I wanted to go blue now for party reasons, this was a really nice option.

This is such a nice polish! I can never make my nail polish last good so long, so I’m jealous for sure.

I’ve been sporting a really dark purple on fingers and sparkly black on toes, but I’m thinking about changing at least the manicure color tomorrow or the day after.

I have no clue about what color to pick next, though.

I was going to change colour, but I think the red will work perfectly with the navy dress I think I will be wearing for New Years Eve.

Our NYE plans got scrapped, noro virus threat with the people we were supposed to spend the evening with. So now we’re stuck with a truck load of food and no plans.

But at least this means I’ll have time to do my nails today. Unless the lazy gets me, of course.

But at least this means I’ll have time to do my nails today. Unless the lazy gets me, of course.

When we were rather new as a couple, we were going to a NYE party that was moved to a summer house, very abruptly on NYE.
I had to work at 7 in the morning and the drive from the cabin in the early morning on very wintery road, felt like a bad idea.
It was just that we had split the things to buy for the party and we were stuck with a bottle of whisky.
The small shops that were still open, were not really very stocked for a quick fix, festive dinner for two…

Since then we always have a back up of champagne and a festive dinner.

Despite the recent digression into food talk, this thread is rather for talking about nail polish, posting pics of your manicures/pedicures etc.

It’s not a thread to post very vaguely nail adjacent porn pics from the internet. There are plenty of threads for doing that, so it’d be really nice if this thread didn’t turn into yet another porn pic thread.

I hope you understand! You’re more than welcome to come and join the thread, just with a little different content than what you’ve been posting so far.
