My sister in law did my toes this weekend, which was very weird. I’m not comfortable people touching my feet, so this was way out of my comfort zone.

As for the fingers, I got Essence meta glow top coat which was a lot sparklier and more covering than I thought. Here over black creme. You’d have to use very little of it to get just a bit of the sparkles, but then you wouldn’t get the full benefit of a top coat and using a semi dry brush would just end up being uneven- I tried that approach as well. Not sure what I think of the product.

I am Pine over Kale Yeah! Both by Essence. And kinda ruined by adding the top layer too soon so it bubbled up a little.

I felt autumnal and went for burgundy nails. But then the weather changed and now I want to hang on to the final moments of summer. So I decided to test all these glittery top coats over them that I bought in Poland before I remove the dark color and go for something a little more summery. One of the top coats needs a very light touch and I overdid it here, but I like them all.

I do like the burgundy though, just not for today. I’ll revisit in a couple of weeks.

It’s so bad when your trusty people move away or change professions. I hope you find someone new soon!

I’ve hated having my hair cut most of my life. Then I found a nice hairdresser and stopped hating it. The joy lasted only a few years, sadly. She switched careers and now I’ve been looking for a new go-to person.

I don’t even need that much, because my hair needs are pretty plain. It’s basically just a trim for me each time, but still I have a hard time finding someone that doesn’t make me feel overly uncomfortable.

Like one hairdresser spent the entire time I was there talking about her divorce and answering the phone when her ex called. There were other major issues with the visit as well. I did not go back.

I couldn’t get a good pic, but I went all in with the glitter and sparkle. In the pic it just looks matte and bumpy.

It’s not really my style but it’s summer, I’m on vacation, it’s good to mix it up a little.

Thanks! And if I were you, I’d definitely buy a new one. It’s like a sickness I have… I always have to buy one more that’s almost but not quite identical to the 10 other bottles I already own.

If nail polish, bras and beer didn’t exist, I honestly don’t know what I’d do with all my monies.

I found a polish I hadn’t even tried yet and have no memory of buying. Essence Cherry on the Run, dries in 40 seconds. Much better than expected! Dried really fast, but not so fast that it would have been difficult to apply. Small bottle, which is good for fast setting polishes. Let’s see how this lasts.

I really should work my way through the colors I have bought but haven’t even used yet. Hmm.
