That one thread's pretty bad, but there are several others that have been started by randos that set my teeth on edge when I click on them, too. I should just subscribe to the one thread I care about there, and then I wouldn't have to even go to Talk anymore. I could just be useless in the Cafe.

Ah, it's a home and garden group. I'm obsessed with all things domestic. I was surprised that when I searched, I couldn't find a group already established just for home topics like decor, gardening, entertaining and anything related. I found a bunch of DIY dungeon equipment groups, though.

So far, it's very small and I've been making topics to try and lure people out for discussion. It's been slow moving, but I think with time it'll be a great place to learn and share. (*^_^*)

Something that confuses me and has since I have been here but only start to feel foot under table enough to blurt. There is so much warmth, but also a lot of heat and anger. I get that we are dealing with 'heart and soul and identity' stuff. But its sad when there is so much ...heat. Need to self protect. Maybe lack of feeling protected by others?

Its hard to ask hard questions and push ones own mind set when you worry a question might make others defensive or unhappy.

If there is a question you want to ask, then I would just ask it, as I am positive that you would never intend to post something with the intention of offending others. There are some people on here who constantly post negative, angry or aggressive thoughts and no matter what anyone does, that will never change. My view is that it is simply their way, and if it suits them, then fine. If you post honest views that are important to you, and that don't break any forum rules, then that is your right, and you should expect that to be respected as well

If my hubby tried that with mine, Seela, he'd just look like he was wearing a beanie - so he dances instead. Badly....

J also has a dance he calls a wave dance. At first it used to make me laugh, but it's since become such a weird staple of his idle movement that it's just business as usual these days.

And he also regularly comes up with little songs to me. The lyrics are always idiotic, about two phrases he repeats, but he usually forgets them quickly too. There is one that's been with us for around 6 years now. The whole lyrics of the song consists of my full name.

Never tell him I've told about these things to anybody! He tries very hard to maintain a serious exterior.
