Hope everyone is well today Sounds like you're all having health related issues (get good drugs, I promise they help ) so hope you all feel better soon!

I've had a few Christmas celebrations recently (society/house/volunteering) so I'm feeling pretty festive already - I'm on my second mince pie of the year, hoping for my second glass of mulled wine pretty soon... Is everyone else feeling ready for Christmas?

I'm also going home at the end of the week, so sort of looking forward to that

Apart from that, having a few relationship issues which isn't ideal, but its nice to chill a bit more now I don't have lectures for a while I'm sure it'll all sort itself out for after Christmas

I'm heading home on Saturday, still got a few days left I'm quite enjoying being here and not feeling guilty about not doing any work actually, so I'm in no rush!

Ooo, very jealous. Bank of mum and dad will hopefully buy us a good stack of finest mince pies Everyday value ones just aren't the same...

Not in this house - all homemade here. I've got a brilliant recipe for soft sweet pastry - it's a bit tricky to roll out because it breaks easily, but it's delicious

8am and getting ready to head off to London... Leaving this late is a bit of a weird one for me so feeling a little confused

8am, already had 2 works calls and a message from the prof's decorator saying he's still not being paid... despite me telling him it's not something I can help with. I don't have access to the money.

On the plus side.... Ermm... It's not 2am when I am typing this?

Working late tonight so probably will not get online much.

Went to be early, and slept like the dead. First time I have slept through in ages. I still feel exhausted.

Shoulder's much better today although not completely right. Pain level has reduced a lot but it's still crunching when I move it, so I'll take it easy today - mind you, I've only got today and tomorrow to get through then I'm off until Ne Year, and I can't wait!

Out today delivering Christmas gifts to clients which is always fun. Luckily the weather's toned down a lot from last night so I won't get blown away.

Hope today is good, Mal and safe journey when you're travelling back. Have a good rehearsal, tonight Daisy.

Just had to cancel my geeking as my training has been pushed back 2 hours. Grrrr. Ah well. Just need to survive today and the prof then I'm done... ish.

Morning all

Last (official) day for me (will probably have to come in over the break, but at least the phones won't be ringing.....).

Staff illness is rife and tempers are extremely short. Had to referee two quite aggressive differences of opinion between them yesterday - good job that I can shout louder than any of them when it suits me . But they're all so tired it's hardly surprising - just need to make sure that they don't kill each other before tonight...

...which is our company Christmas meal. If the sickness level is no better today, attendance isn't going to be overwhelming. But, the venue is staggering distance from my house, so hopefully I will be able to have a good time, let my hair down in a discreet and ladylike manner, and possibly lead the singing...

Finally home, via the garage to collect my repaired/serviced car and handing over the traditional £1k.... Worth it, though - he's tightened the handling and it goes like a rocket now

So, getting ready now for the Christmas meal tonight which is usually good fun and a pleasant evening.
