Meal was very pleasant - the food was surprisingly tasty, the conversations flowed and everyone seemed to have a good time.

I'm kicking the family out this morning so that I can have some free time for present wrapping, but this afternoon I'll be back in the office to do some leisurely paperwork whilst they watch their team lose at football.

Sorry about the geeking, Malich . But your house will be gleaming for Christmas.

Hi everyone
I am home, tired, achy and happy after seeing M.

Gave him his pressies, which consisted of rather a lot of bondage rope amongst other things

He gave me some money to save towards a personalised number plate I have found the perfect one and have to save now!

Did an amazing flogging demo to a group of vanilla couples and I went on to flog 3 of them (they were scared of Master lol) I think there is a sadist in me waiting to emerge!

Glad there is some time off now to enjoy

Survived the day for the most part. Hope everyone else is ok?

Morning all

Food shopping done early this morning, all unpacked and put away, so I'm eating breakfast in a house full of sleeping family, and it's blissfully relaxing .

Visiting friends this morning, possibly into work this afternoon to collect mail, or if I can persuade husband to take daughter to the cinema instead, he can do it, and I can get some baking done in peace. Ginger biscuits, oat flapjacks and apple crumble hopefully...

Went to Lytham to put flowers on the parents' grave yesterday. It was very cold and windy, but the sun was shining so daughter and I had a great walk along the seafront.

Up half the night with Lil boy, whose temperature was sky rocketing. He is fine now, I am shattered
Need to get to town today.

I was up half the night with toothache. bloody body.

And for fun, got to the Prof's this morning and he's found all the boxes of stuff we put away because it is mostly irrelevant and potentially in need of throwing away... And emptied them out all over his spare bedroom. Joys unending.

Going to have to go to the dentist today. Bugger. Hate that with a firey passion. Hopefully they'll extract, not fill again.

Sorry about the tooth, Malich - hope they get it sorted for you today. Hope little boy is feeling fine today, Daisy.

Staying at home for me today, which I'm really looking forward to . Might go out for a walk later, but that's the highlight of my plans! Carol service tonight which we all really enjoy.

It's great that even though the kids are older, and adult in so many other ways, they're still ridiculously excited about tomorrow!

Nope. They cannot see me until friday at the earliest and cannot book me in anyway. Have to call back thursday to try again.

Up half the night with raging cystitis, peeing blood at 3am is no fun!
This morning I am glugging water and scoffing cranberries. Nice!
Lil boy still not on form. Keeping him dosed up too.

Well, the presents are wrapped, all I have to do is cook the gammon and we are done. I have a lamb stew on the go for tonight. I think I am ready!

Mal, hope the tooth let's up. Get some oil of cloves, bongella, tcp and painkillers!! *huge hugs*

Morning all - Happy Boxing Day

Hope we all survived the festivities without hangovers, indigestion or divorce proceedings....

Daughter spent most of yesterday trialling her special effects makeup on herself, and I cannot begin to describe how unappetising it is trying to eat next to someone sporting third degree acid burns, bruises, a variety of warts and a stitched up dogbite

She wants to go back to the theatre makeup store today to stock up with even more supplies - I'm hoping they'll still be closed.

Yesterday was good, but felt knackered by about 5pm.

Today is the start of prep work for our big friends and partners meal on Saturday. So, housework, shopping list writing.... fun fun fun.

Christmas Eve mass really got to me - its a shame that I'm not in this area for the majority of the year because that priest is fantastic. He said exactly what I needed to hear (despite not having been to mass since Easter...) I think I'm well overdue for finding a church in Sheffield to go to. I've been feeling incredibly lonely, and falling asleep Christmas Eve I felt like I managed to fight off some of my demons and realised that no matter what, I am never alone.

So Christmas meant a lot to me, even if the day itself was very average!

Have you all got NYE plans?
