Don't worry! The South isn't so terrifying, as long as you stay away from the M25, the London Tube, and arguments about whether dinner is the same as lunch or tea.So while the South is terrifying as a Northerner, I spend enough time there already and it will benefit me financially, socially, physically and mentally. It will be a shame to leave some of the remaining friends I have up here... but I will make new ones easily enough especially if i'm working something close to regular hours.
I'm sorry you're having such a tough time of it - reminds me of my life a few years ago.
So don't ever hold back from having a vent on here or the blurt thread of the cancer thread - you can say all those things you can't say in real life, and there will always be support from your friends here
It is so hard to see those we love in pain. Hang in there x

.
And Dinner is the main meal of the day, to be taken at any time. Lunch is the meal at the middle of the day, tea is the meal at the end of the day. Either can be dinner depending on which is the bigger.
Argument ended!
Now wait until you spend 2 hour listening to a discussion about which is the correct order for the items on a cream scone! that can get heated
Ummm excuse me, it's
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner(Tea)
Also cream and then jam ^^
I propose we begin renewing gladiatorial combat to settle this meal chronology dispute.
Here is the aforementioned MasterNick59, owner of LucyBee01, crunching into the forum. Btw, I've been present as a reader on Lit for years, under a different handle. First post....Oh Belle what have you started? Clearly it is breakfast, lunch and dinner. Except on Sunday's when dinner is at lunch time. Tea is what people call dinner when they can't be bothered to make anything.p
And its butter, jam and then cream. Totally.
Hehehe, might still come to that With cream scones to throw. Mmmm.
No. No. No. No.Ummm excuse me, it's

You poor guy. You really don 't cook. Scones are great.....freshly baked.
Do you ever make savoury scones? They can be a nice thing to have with soup if you do not care to make bread. Cheddar and Apple for example, lifts a winter soup, the Apple adds some tender freshness.

Of course, as a Scot, Dinner is High Tea (not sure if there is a Low Tea!), Shall we confuse the lovely Belle even more?
yes I do. Herb scones or cheesy scones.
cheese and apple together sounds wonderful. I shall have to try that.
oh oh oh ~ ~ ~ makes me want to make scones in the morning.
