The NEW UK Kink Thread

This won;t be the last time we go out and about I am sure.

I hope not!
Hope you had fun.

We had a lovely holiday. Not looking forward to next couple of days back at work - got some tricky practicalities and intense sessions. But then should calm down a little.

I will put the kettle on for tea... Earl Grey anyone?

No no. I'm not that easy to get rid of.

It was ok, felt a little cliquey but found a few folks to geek out with.

Oh that's annoying but glad you found a few friendlies. Pretty much all of the munches I have been to have been friendly. A few had a few little closed groups, but meh, didn't want to talk to them anyway :p

This is probably heinous, but I have read about some chestnut flavoured tea in US and I feel I have to have some.. I am eking out the jeju tea my friend brought me when she visited from Korea and it's so delicious, I am going to need something fantastic to take its place when it's gone :(

Won't chestnut flavoured tea be very sweet? Hmmm. I think you need to try some and report back.

I have been enjoying what I call popcorn tea, that a nice person brought over from Japan. It isn't really popcorn, but it smells and tastes like it :)

Oh god' that sounds good.

So good.

My life has become excited over tea.

I really love chestnuts. If it's unsweetened it might not be too sweet I think? I am thinking like chestnut stuffed cabbage and roast chestnuts and nut roasts, rather than chestnuts with vanilla and Mont Blanc.

My school here had a sweet chestnut tree and a friend my first year showed me the nuts, and we used to eat them raw in break time. :D

Roast chestnuts - now you're talking! Mmmmm. Especially from street sellers - how do they get them so delicious?

Tea is awesome. I had several amazing kinds of high quality, which, long story short, I don't have now. All different interesting Chinese teas, loose leaf. And the little tea pot broke :(
But I know where to get replacements one day :)

Hi Lucy, Elle, tea fanatics both...! Love my tea, drink heaps everyday from the tea groves of Yorkshire. Well, that's what the box implies - Yorkshire Tea is very strongly flavoured and deep coloured. Of late I have had to move to the decaff version... too much staying awake after 6 or 7 large mugs of tea each day!

SS :)

Surely an oxymoron - weak Yorkshire tea!

Just sinking a pint now... tea bag left in for ages!

Hahaha, I had a nice northern colleague say to me once when I was making them tea and wondering how long to leave the tea bag in for
"That tea bag needs to make a commitment to that tea. You just leave it in a good long while."
Loved the idea of a teabag making a commitment

What a great comment! My teabags are some of the most committed in Yorkshire I think, often found still in the mug when the tea is long gone!

I must admit that in all my wandering a around Yorkshire I never yet found the tea plantations they make Yorkshire tea from, but the cheese is not bad, Gromit!

:)

Those plantations are a well kept secret. Like area 51.

Gosh, it was chilly today. Like a proper autumn day. A nice one. I kept looking at my clothes, wanting to wear a t-shirt, but kept having to remind myself it is now chilly out there, so long sleeves it was. Definitely a good choice.

I had the most delicious brownie I have had in years today. In Nandos of all places :D That really moist, chocolately, caramelly melty deliciousness. Mmmmmm. Almost orgasmic.

Lol if I put on a good enough spread? :D.

With Belle? Maybe on a Saturday in November? And Lucy, and master Nick if he were able, and one other, a very nice person I have met from GB, if I trust enough to invite to my house.....

Have you and Lucy met yet? Could be the opportunity. :)

We have not.

Saturdays we can probably do. November has a few things in it, but if it doesn't clash and Belle is up for it we can probably slog round the M25 and down a bit. :)
