Mrs MF just spotted that the 2.00pm workshop at LAM this Sunday is on the topic of Sensation Play, including mental games ("... scenes don't have to be all about inflicting pain").See you both at LAM.

Yippee! That's my style of dominance, but I don't usually see it getting much acknowledgement.
Mrs MF and I will be doing our darndest to get seats inside that workshop. Indeed, we'd both be up for participating in demonstrations. We rarely play that way in public, as there's usually a sense that we're occupying valuable space and time at venues on something frivolous that we "could do at home". Perhaps there's a chance this weekend to address that adverse perception.
.

Sounds good! I certainly know which sensual buttons that I could push on Mrs MF in order to make her melt. It helps that she secretly enjoys the attention!I am hoping to get to that workshop too, if we manage to get there early enough. You should totally volunteer for the demonstrations; front row spectator here![]()

It's a bit like being in a crowded pub when you're having a friendly game on the pool table and you become aware that the local "pros" are sharpening their cues, lining up their stacks of one pound coins and making subtle "tuts" at your perceived ineptitude. They might not actually say that you're in their way, but the body language is clear.Re playing that way at events - what makes you think others see it as a frivolous use of space and time? I don't see it that way. I do see it as something that more lends itself to a quieter space than some events might support, if they have loud music or there is a lot of noisy impact play going on. And I understand people wanting to use the bdsm furniture for impact play as most of us don't have the room or equipment at home, sadly!
We'd love to find that, if it exists!Hmmm, maybe there could be an event more geared towards it? Or maybe there is already, but you haven't found it yet?
I think the first hurdle is to overcome the widespread perception that sensual play isn't "proper" BDSM play, in the sense that it doesn't involve physical pain, bruises and marks made with impressively scary-looking equipment. My sensual play tools include mundane items such as a pastry brush, cocktail sticks and fingers! The skill lies in the wielding of those humble tools and the prior setting of the psychological context.Maybe not a great comparison, but just thinking how the age players munch lot have just started running play events, which have elements of play you won't see much of at the more general bdsm play events.
Just to report back: the Sensation Play workshop yesterday was a triumph!Mrs MF just spotted that the 2.00pm workshop at LAM this Sunday is on the topic of Sensation Play, including mental games ("... scenes don't have to be all about inflicting pain").

Hi! How are you!?
Glad you joined!
I am snuggled with a dog not sharing my bottle of water!
I'm good thanks.
Thought it was time to join![]()
I offered the box to Mindfondler and he took one or two. Still half leftAre you going to share those maltesers?
Welcome tinglebliss! Have fun exploring the threads here. There are some lovely people around.
In the process, I devised a new game in which a blindfolded sub is fed maltesers rolled slowly one by one down a slanted postal tube — only some of them aren't maltesers.I offered the box to Mindfondler and he took one or two. Still half left![]()

Things that a sub might expect to be maltesers when they enter the tube but turn out to be something else when they reach the other end, to the amusement of the Dom. Off the top of my head, I'm thinking of grapes, cheese footballs (are they just a UK thing?) and green olives stuffed with hot chilli pepper. Then what are they?![]()

Hi Belle! We miss you too. Are we likely to see you around anytime soon (e.g. at LAM in June?).Dropping in for a quick helloIt's been a while and I miss you all!
P.S. Interesting maltesars game btw![]()

*files away idea for future use*Revels. With the coffee ones if you're feeling really sadistic.

Hi from "the smoke".Hi from Devon btw
If you go to Westminster Tube station then you'll be able to look straight up at the Elizabeth Tower and hear Big Ben chime every quarter hour. You can also buy a seemingly unlimited range of Big Ben and London themed tourist tat on the nearby street corners.I've never been to London, though hoping to in September for the day as my little boy is super obsessed with Big Ben

WD-40 is my friend. What's the tube made of? Would not sound or speed give a clue even a momentary one?

It would be great to see you againMarch LAM anyone? Haven't suggested to G yet....
