The NEW UK Kink Thread

Garden, housework, animals......:).

A friend invited me to the ( safer part of ) Middle East this week to help her with some work later this year and I was desperate to say yes but I just cannot see how I can. :(

I got confused and ended up here.

Unicorn. Better you stay home and do what you can, and add help when you can, rather than be there, and not be able to.

I would, I am, and yeah, I cannot stand up for that long. TBH not sure I can sit down for that long. I was at the globe this week seeing an AMAZINGLY good production of twelfth night and I was glad it was there because it's possible to wriggle around a bit on bench seating. :). Being able to sit through while things again is progress for me. :).

Oh, at I sit down place, I go up and down, but its the CAN sit down bit that matters to me.

I dont think Depeche Mode was even minor big out here, so I couldnt even name songs

Morning, all!

Just making the statement that tinglebliss and I are still going to the London Alternative Market (LAM) today, despite the shocking events nearby last night.
.

Good to hear. A London fb friend recently posted I REFUSE TO BE TERRORIZED, and I think that's the right response.

Generally I agree.

However I would check the cordon area because it's possible it might be impacted, and muffling thing on the toes of investigation is not helpful :) if it's running and we had been planning on going I would still go too were it not unhelpful to police.
Yes, we've done all that. The organisers have confirmed that LAM is going ahead today, it's outside the cordon area (albeit not by too much) and we're taking a route that avoids the investigation area. :)
.

I think the area around the venue is ok.
I will be there in a while. Just for the market and workshops.

Have a fab time! 👍🏻

Thank you x. I did :D

The market was a bit quieter than normal and one of the workshops on bdsm and healthy mental practices was largely used to support those affected by the London Bridge incident, including those who were at a munch in a pub in the area who witnessed stuff.

I did my stint as a demo bottom at the edge play workshop and it was sooo fun. I had the easiest demo, which was about demonstrating interaction and connection between top and bottom. Eric demonstrated and then talked through in detail, a very short demo with me - showing respect, helping me feel at ease, then relax, getting me focused on him rather than the room full of people, establishing trust, seeing what my baseline breathing was like and how that changed as I reacted to what he was doing, etc

There were two other demos, one on impact play and one on bondage - both used again to show connection and different ways of connecting. I liked how he started slowly wrapping rope around his rope bunny and then suddenly changed the tempo to fast and was rougher about it - fascinating to watch the bunny's reaction and how that connection became something different in that moment.

All signed up for his weekend intensive next weekend, yay!

LAM was quieter than usual. We think it was due to half term holiday, the lovely weather and the London Bridge incident. There were other kink events going on as well.

The edgeplay workshop was exicting. I especially enjoyed Eric showing us how a whip can be used in sensation play. You are so used to seeing different ways of using the whip at outdoor play events, but it was great to see the whip used to heighten sensual play.

He told his lady bunny to hold her hands up above her and close her eyes. She managed that some of the time, but it was great watching the eye-to-eye contact. He knew the correct distance to use the whip from, and the tip of the whip stopped just in front of her. You could see her body flinch with the conpression wave towards her and the anticipation of where the whip was going to land.

Good morning all, been reading this site for years and want to get more involved in the forums so decided to start here ;)

Welcome! Here is a fine place to start :)

Ok, which bastards cursed us with living in interesting times?!

Interesting indeed!

I am feeling sooo tired today and not like working at all. Went to the two day intensive which was excellent, although sadly I am not at liberty to divulge what we learnt. But I would recommend Eric's workshops for whenever he visits the U.K. again. :)
