I had one of my luckily few prison visits today. I really do not like being locked in several times over as we progress through each section *shudder*. Still, they let me out again, so all is good

And now I have a week off of work! Yey! Not going away, but will be spending quality time on little ol' me and doing fun things with fun people.

Lucy, I am at LAM this Sunday and BBB Sunday week lol. It would be lovely to see you, although I am not at my best, I have picked up yet another chest infection and am hitting the antibiotics hard to stop it turning into pneumonia again :-(

Mmm, open wood fires... yes, I grew up with an open wood fire. I was very young but remember seeing that it was a lot of work to set up, look after and then clear out afterwards. But great for toasting crumpets

Ahhh, I hope you have a good time! I wish I could have spoken to daisy to sk her to give you an in the flesh cuddle from me!

I had a great time and met Daisy and got a big hug She told me all about different floggers and they were all so colourful and pretty.

Yesterday was a watch, digest and learn day for me, both at the market and the party later. Really glad I had been to a few munches first so I was able to meet up with friendly faces.

Today I am off to the cinema with a friend. Something I haven't done in a looong time. Yey!

It was lovely to meet you, good to see you were being looked after and shown around by Mr Box. He is a regular at the London Markets and has a few of my floggers. ☺

I had a good day, even my rattly chest didn't ruin it . The antibiotics seem to be kicking in now. Just as well, I don't want another round of pneumonia any time soon.

Birmingham again in 2 weeks it's been amazing to meet so many litsters over the past few weeks xxxx

Awesome part of day - going to see Inside Out at the cinema. Ah, those clever Pixar people know how to make you laugh a lot and then cry a lot. But I also like how the film can work at different levels. Fascinating to explore what happens when you remove sadness and joy. To me, it echoed what the psychotherapist giving a talk at LAM was saying about the effect of anti-depressants narrowing the emotional range.

And then this evening Got home, realised I had left a couple of *toys* under the duvet (never done that before), and despite her not having been for 7 weeks, of all the days, my landlord's cleaner had obviously re-appeared and done a _very_ thorough clean and tidy of the entire flat. Including my bedroom. Including re-making the bed.

Maybe I can just avoid _ever_ meeting the cleaner in future!

Elle - that's interesting. I have talked with a few folk taking anti-depressants who have commented on their "dampening" effect, so it is interesting that your experience is quite different.

The party - well, ahem. I just went to watch For this one, there is no dress code and it is all pretty relaxed, which makes it great for newbies. There was a lot of general socializing. But there were public play areas too so people can try out what they have just bought at LAM Actually it is interesting to see how different people play together. And there are some "pros" who are just fun to watch - saw some beautiful flogging which almost looked liked a dance.

Alas, not too busy in the fun way. Not actually managed another meet up with Belle since the first one. too many schedule clashes. BBB this month clashes with one of my regular gaming days and I can't shift it to the Saturday because that would clash with something one of the other guys is doing.

Morning all, hope all's well out there in the big wide world

Bit of a rough weekend here, dad took a bit of downturn and developed pneumonia which didn’t respond to the original anti-biotics, so they changed all of his meds to try and get back on top of things, but Sunday was pretty bleak. When I went in yesterday evening, expecting much the same, the nurse standing at his bedside looked at me shook her head in disbelief. He'd eaten his lunch and most of his dinner, was trying to communicate, and was quite bright and alert, although very tired. She said they'd been amazed by his progress in the last 24 hours, and couldn't believe he was the same man from the day before. He's nowhere near out of the woods yet, but I certainly feel a whole lot happier now.

Just wanted to say thanks again for all the messages of support from everyone here, it means a lot to know someone's there. Love you guys
