Gorgeous weather here! Such a shame I am wasting it going to work for an early morning meeting - but shall be sloping off early to a beer garden with my OH methinks . No real plans here - painting, cleaning, cooking, gardening and writing are all on the agenda. And a few hours playing Neverwinter Online with my partner too . I've been all lurky, lurky given how unbelievably busy work and home has been the last couple of weeks or so but my boss is now safely retired as of yesterday so I can relax and chat again

Yeah, clouded over here in Leeds as well. Just come out of a meeting where a Director said the phrase 'blue sky thinking' 3 times in an hour.

How is everyone this fine Saturday?!

I've had a cleaning and tidying style day, but at least now my kitchen feels like it is my kitchen again, rather than a municipal tip. Off to cook for the next few hours now though so fully expecting it to be a tip again by six o'clock!

I enjoyed the long weekend with Master. Work has been very busy recently so it was a long weekend oasis of peace and calm.

Been to a couple more munches. Funniest thing was the last one I went to which is in a separate bar upstairs from the main bar. I reached the pub about 20 minutes late, headed up stairs, opened the door, and was confronted with pole dancing
I asked them about the munch and they just looked confused. It was a very surreal moment of my surprise at what I stumbled across and their puzzlement as to what a "munch" was. Suffice to say, I mumbled apologies and headed downstairs.

Turned out there is pole dance class which has the room before the munch and so everyone was patiently waiting downstairs being very respectable in the main bar - but I am short sighted so had managed to walk past them all

Working up the courage to poke my nose into LAM maybe this coming weekend, maybe. Really would like to see Daisy's floggers if she is there...

Morning all, just a quick 'Hi' in passing.

Thanks to LucyBee and Elle, your thoughts are much appreciated. To keep everyone up to speed, my Dad had a major stroke in the the early hours of Wednesday morning, and was rushed into hospital. It took a while to get much in the way of details as to what had happened (his care was moving faster than information availability could keep pace with), but he's stable and comfortable at the moment. He's not out of the trees yet, but at least he's in the woods now, and not hanging over a 6ft deep hole. I'll be in touch when we know more.
