Just checked and after about 38 hours in pending, mine’s scheduled for tomorrow in Romance.
No, I just type in google docs and copy and paste over to the text box. I use the spell check, but nothing beyond that.
Try again and let us know what happens. I may have a word with Laurel about this. She may not read it, but all we can do is try.

Now that my #1 is heading in to play cannon fodder, I can finish #2 and maybe #1 will draw fire while #2 coasts unscathed to the finish line.
A few months ago, I wrote a story *about* AI, and I was concerned it would get flagged. So I included a note stating that I wrote it myself. I don’t know if it would have been flagged otherwise, but it made it through.

I'm currently writing my first Loving Wives story too, which will be for this contest. I'm not looking to troll or intentionally annoy the readership there, but with everything I've read about that category, I'm definitely curious about the response...and a bit nervous too.
My story is about a loving wife. If the reader has followed my stories then they'll have a good idea how the story will end. If they don't I can't be held responsible for their imagination.
