The fun never stops. My Valentines Day story was at 4.85 at the closing of the contest, now it's at 4.61.

I have learned not to obsess over scoring, but sometimes, it just makes your head spin.

Ratings as a whole are crazy. Comp ratings are crazy on steroids.

Yeah. Mine was at 4.86 and has been steadily attacked. Now down to 4.8 and still falling. Usually votes are pretty much zero by now, but it looks like there's a constant dribble of 1 bombs every few hours.

The things people do for amusement.

Lit used to do periodic sweeps between contests. Hope they still do, but catching low and slow score vandalism must be tough.

All of my high scores have dropped. As of today, I don't have anything scoring over 4.84, and only a few weeks ago I had quite a few at 4.85 and 4.86.

One story that came in second place in a contest was scoring at 4.86 and 4.87 for several years. Just in the last few weeks it has steadily been dropping, and it's now 4.74. I can tell from looking at the Hall of Fame stories that most high scoring stories have lost at least a point or two, so it isn't just mine that have been dropped.

I'm not sure if it's a sweep, dropping 5's as well as one bombs, or what's happening behind the scenes, but something weird is definitely going on with the scores.

Tuesday this story was scoring at 4.74. Yesterday it dropped to 4.73. Today it dropped again to 4.72, and it had been scoring between 4.86 and 4.87 since 2021 when it came in second place in the Nude Day Contest. So something is definitely going on with the scoring. I wrote and asked what was going on, but of course, I got no response.

Indeed it is. Though some are in not just denial about it, but actively denouncing what is an obvious fact.
