I arrive back at the Inn as everyone else seems to have been drawn away to R W activities. Such is life and Lit as we all come from a variety of time zones and countries.

A mug of coffee with a splash of B&B as I take my own break from the RW and stacking the winter's wood. The three cords have been reduced to less that a 1/2 cord over the past few days. Now come the part that bears careful consideration haul in more wood to cut, buck up split and stack or trust what is already done will be enough.

Apparently not as good as yours Mari as I have not been snuggling with anyone in ages.

Other than that it is going well. Took a fancy to make some French Market doughnuts today. We use to call them pig's ears because of the way they curl when you cook them.

Rising to get a drink from the bar, I return to the couch and join in the conversation.

Alone in the Inn... I make a stiff drink for myself and pull out my pad to write for a bit.

Raising my head from my scribbles, I see the petite powerhouse sitting in her favorite couch.
