Doing my damndest not to melt in the summer heat we have just now, but otherwise right as rain. Been dabbling once more with some writing, though I am as busy as ever.

I've been doing ok.
Been warm here too, so shorts and t-shirts for me.

Thankfully my job is 98% in 40F temps so I am cool as long as I am at work

But, I am 3 pages into a post I am writing and have to work in the am. As I am determined to finish it before I sleep, I will take my leave once more. It was great seeing you again though!

Sneaking in at the darkest hour Raven having not forgotten his friend's kind words quickly goes about preparing the coffee, tea, and piles of breakfast foods. Then quickly gives the old inn a once over cleaning. Leaving a single yellow rose on The Shadow Nymph's darkened table beside her chair. And an old long stem pipe and an out of print book by CG's. Away into the night with fond wishes for all, and hopes of returning at a more reasonable time.

*Walks in and sees no one around so brings in a plate of cookies cakes in, large soft sugar cookies with a nice helping of frosting in between them, piled high on the plate I place it on the counter and slip into the shadows to watch. *

Popping into the Inn for a much needed Friday evening libation, I see a slight moment in the shadows and a single black feather near the bar. It reminds me of Raven and I assume he's made an appearance after a long absence.

"Evening AMC." Waving to the shadows.

"And Raven, wherever you may be... Hope you're having a good time."

Plopping two olives into my drink, I ease into a chair and take out my dogeared tablet to write a last post or two.

Sprints in fixing breakfast in a whirl wind of action. Making sure tea and coffee are ready in an assortment of flavors rarely found outside a coffee shop. Platters of pastries lining the bar, with jellies and preserves in a riot of colors, flavors, and smells. Leaving a second out of print book for the master of the inn. And an orchid in a a pot for the shadow nymph.

I slip silently towards my spot in the shadows my eyes widening in delight as I spy the yellow rose and the orchid, both are firm favorites of mine, both were left for me by someone special, both belonged in Solliquium. i would take them there after my coffee.

Hearing familiar voice I smile happily and slip from the shadows behind Timothy whom I slip my arms around whispering gently in his ear, "I have missed you, thank you for your wonderful gifts." Blushing, I move infrount of him my eyes searching his face as if to see for myself that he is well before saying a sunny good morning to the room at large....
