I haven't been to a range in what seems like forever. I used to be a pretty good shot, but I fear that now even the broad sides of the barn are quite safe.

Bars are also pretty safe with me H F. It seems I am left eye dominate and right hand dominate which means I must shoot with both eyes open and sight with the left eye. takes me a very long time to get back to Marksman status.
Pretty good hand with a rifle or shotgun but today it was pistols.

I do look forward to the end of summer when vacations and holidays are not quite so numerous. However, I find time these days time does have a way of flying past quickly. Fall and winter will very quickly be here.

Having no idea what it could be, I carefully open up the box and peek inside.
Ohhh ... oh my ...
*Gasps softly, mind racing at the significance of the gift before quickly replacing the box lid, cheeks flaming*
*Carefully sets the gift aside and makes coffee, somewhat ... distracted ... as I glance back at the package now and then ...
Taking up the mug, and that precious gift, I head for the sofa where I sink and sip in slow appreciation of the brew,
my thoughts now heading in a totally different direction to what they were before.
A brief check of the time and a soft sigh as I realise that I have many hours to wait before thanking Fun for his ...
