No, not poisoning thank goodness ...
I have some kind of bug ... fever, aches and pains, sore throat ... the norm...

Thought I'd grab a quick drink before even thinking of heading back to bed ...

How is life treating you?
You're more active story wise than I have been of late.

Had a bit of an impromptu sabbatical myself for most of August when my father ran into some medical issues. Thankfully, they've ruled out cancer, lymphoma, etc, and are treating him for sarcoidosis (with steroids).

In the meantime, I'm still waiting for my hubby to get home from his originally planned 2 week (now 6 week) business trip to Germany so have been having to do both his and my chores (he's going to sooooooo owe me a girls weekend with no questions asked!).

Story wise, I'm almost caught up again, but have two that I have yet to dust off, but thankfully my partners are patient.

Sorry to hear that ... my family always seem to have medical issues - it's been that kind of Summer! And I think I owe all round on my stories ... my co-writers are so patient, it's unbelievable how long they will wait for me ... I'm very lucky!

Sounds like you definitely have girls weekend and then some owing!
Six weeks is a heck of a long time! Especially with children to deal with!

Dripping wet from the sudden downpour that caught me outside, take off my shirt to wring it out and leave a small puddle on the floor as I shake my head as well hoping no drops hit anyone.

I clean up the puddle with a bar towel and see Mari, CG, LT and dragon.

"Evening/afternoon all. Welcome back LT!"

I give Mari a big gentle hug, careful not to twirl or or squeeze too hard in case she's still feeling ill, and a lingering tender kiss. "Hi honey, feeling any better? I was about to make a drink for myself, would you like some tea?"
