"Damn and I thought I wrote fast typically. I stared at a bbank computer screne for ages before I could write and she just gave me a very nice reply back like it was nothing. this could be good." He smiles as he reads and begins to crunch into his cone.

*claps happily as best she can without dropping her treat*

He laughs and then eyes her ice cream, "Don't you drop that... I'd love to, err... hate to have to lick it off you were it to fall."

Oh my... That surely would have made my ice cream melt had I not fallen asleep on my keyboard last night...

"Oh?" an eyebrow raises and the elf smiles as he pores himself a drink as the smell of chicken and rice permeates the inn.

*she simply smiles and tries to retreat behind what she hoped was a serene expression*

"Nice change of subject doll. But, I'm ok... how are you?"

*leans forward and whispers confidentially to the handsome elf*

My halo is always secure when my kiddies are still awake...

*sits back and sighs a little*

My day was... A day... Yet another bonehead change of course directed by management. I'm seriously contemplating a real ice cream cone tonight to drown my sorrows.

Oops, there's my cue... Daughter is out of dance class... Be back in a bit!

He chuckles, "Understood my dear."

He listens to her rant about her work, "Yeah that's always annoying." As she rushes off he goes to retrieve his dinner, sure he'll catch her later.

I enter the Inn shaking off the rain from my duster and see a pleasant gathering. I make my way to the bar for a glass of water and take a seat in a chair by the couches.

"Evening all. Glad, Angel, CG, good to see you all tonight."

The elf smiles as he passes out dishes of his chicken and rice with Mexican queso over top of it. "Aye all is doing fairly well CG... Hf, good to see you, hope you're hungry?" he asks as he digs into his creation.

*walks in with a faint blush of her cheeks*

Oops... Forgot to park myself on a couch before reviewing my replies....

*gives each of the handsome men a kiss on the cheek*

Looks like you might be feeling better, HF....

Gladly accepting the offered dish, I tuck in and groan appreciatively, before receiving Angel's kiss and repeating the response.

"Thank's Glad, this is really good... hit's the spot on a chilly wet evening." Raising my fork in thanks and gratitude.

"Hey Trouble. Thank you, I am... Hopefully these new bug killers finally do the trick... you know what they say... third time's the charm!"

*kicks off her shoes and draws her legs up, arms wrapping around her knees*

"I did not realize you were sick HF, I also hope you feel better soon." he says nodding his thanks to his omments on his cooking.

He blushes a tad and gives Angel a hug in response to her kiss on his cheek. "And good to see you as always as well lady Angel."

"CG, I was surprised not to see you yesterday, hope all is well?"

I fear Cg has already left us... He tends to retire early as he's up before the birds most days...

"Did he say he was leaving? did I miss that post?" the elf looks confused and scans the thread again.

No, but I think he popped on in between you and HF both having your fingers busy... With typing responses....

Thank you both for the get well's. It's nothing major Glad, just a lingering sinus thing that just does not want to go away. The worst part is, when it acts up, it's really hard to think about writing in general let alone writing with a... purpose...
