Meandering further away, from lights and the sounds of laughter, until I end up by my rock, a long way away. Clambering upward, fingers and toes finding holds, scrambling for purchase, until I am cuddled by rocky coolness and utter quiet, except for the surge of the sea. Peace.

*Getting up from my seat to make my way to the sound system, a curious feeling of mischief making tickling my spine all up and down, I fish out a doubled CD set of Hank Williams Sr. Greatest hits, push play and crank it up, letting the sound of 'Honkytonk Blues' fill the patio and overflow to the beach. For some reason, these simplistic old fashioned pain songs soothe me, and as the simple guitar rhythm sets my toe tapping, I can't help but grin at the look I imagine would come over Ausus' face if she were here to listen.

*Pausing on my way back to my seat to resume writing, I take a moment to slip into little two step dance, honky tonk style, uncaring about the stares and grins of the staff as they watch the 'crazy naked elf girl' have her fun. Laughing playfully, I find my seat again, another cold bottle of cider by my side, and turn my attention to a sleepy but horny country cousin about to send me over the edge right along with her.

*Finishing that post so easily, the words just erupting from my madly keyboarding fingers almost faster than I could move them. Sometimes the character just channels through me and their words flow like water through a fire hose. Too bad they all aren't like that.

I have another response to Opposite's Attract awaiting me this morning, but my co-writer has asked that I take my time responding. Perhaps he needs a little break since he's taken on a few other stories as well. I did turn the last response around in less than 3 days, much sooner than I had told him to expect. Now I wonder if I should write while I'm in the mood, and perhaps hold off on posting for a couple days, or find something else to amuse me this afternoon.

*Writing and chatting has resulted in intense pain from my body posture. In desperate need of relief, I get up and stretch, considering a session with my traction machine, or my EMPI TENS device, or if necessary, pain relief drugs though they would cloud my mind.

*Returning to the beach, feeling a little better, I decide a nice frolic in the waves would feel good. Splashing into the water, waist deep before I dive into an oncoming swell, exalting in the sheer joy of play in nature's womb of life, I am in my element.

skipping around the Outlook, she looks around and sees Thryi out in the distance, swimming...giggling to herself she hops over to the bar and orders a cold iced tea with mint...extra sweet!!!

*Emerging at last from the cool waves, refreshed and rejuvenated, I make my way up the steps to the Outlook patio. Noticing Zydrate sipping a tall glass of something, I stop by her table, giving her a wet hug.

Hmm, that looks like sweetea, but is that mint I smell? I love mint tea!

*Stopping by the bar to get a tall glass of what Zy is having, along with a refill for her, and a small bag of Andes chocolate mint candies, I return to her table, sharing some of the mint chocolates with her.

Wolfling comes walking, after being gone for most of the past few days. Her eyes are calm, and focused inward, her mouth is curved in a small, sweet smile. She walks along the shore, heading for the Outlook proper, needing the the familiar surroundings while she contemplates owed posts.

She scents an Elf, a warrior, but keeps moving...toward the stone steps that lead up to the deck. She owes posts. But the solitude...is a blessing. The moon is high, the darkness, vast and deep. She is blessed.

Sensative ears hear steps, and he lifts his head sharp eyes spying the wolf, he longs to go to her. He hasn't seen her in a long time, his own absences from lit making it difficult to catch up with friends, but he won't disturb her at this time, she is always welcome to join thyri and he if she wanted, and he hoped she knew that.

"A little better tonight honestly, been very overwhelmed lately. Summer classes and such are whipping my ass, majorly."

He smiles at her gesture reaching up to cup her cheek stroking it softly. "Sorry I've not been around more." he says softly.

The Wolfling reaches the deck and espies the Elves, together. Pretty Thyri, gorgeous glad. Her feet lead her ever onward, but not until she stops by them, brushing soft full lips over pointed ear tips, strong, small fingers lingering on the backs of supple necks.

I won't interrupt, but I want, nay needed, to say hello.

She moves off, deeper into the Outlook, heading for the bar and solitude.

He nods, "Thank you My friend, that means a lot to me." he says, "I feel so alone some days, but I konw people like you still believe in me, it helps." he says softly.

his hand slides down the curve of her neck and he turns his head so his eyes meet hers.

*A blue-violet gaze meets his green orbs, a soft smile curling red lips. Leaning in for a gentle kiss, reassuring him,

You're not alone. We all have our own problems that make us feel that way sometimes, but all we have to do is reach out and there are plenty who will help us share the burden.

*Patting his hand gently, then taking a long sip of mint sweetea.
