To be fair, I have always thought that this whole "Renaming sports teams" thing was a little over the top. I still think of them as the "Redskins" and have gotten criticized- incidently never by a Native American by the way- for slipping up and referring to the Commanders by their old name.Looks like even virtue signaling has run its course. Native Americans and other 'marginalized' people are tired of white liberals telling them what they should be offended over.
As an aside Brett Cooper is 23 years old and has 4.5 million subscribers and is making bank. This generation does little but complain but look at the opportunities they have that none of us did.

But the thing is, I honestly don't know whether they find the term "Redskins" offensive or not. I think, what you are implying, is nobody actually asked the Native American people whether they thought it was offensive, they just assumed they thought it was. I'm guessing this is your point here.
