The Pendulum Effect Thread: AKA The Awakening.

...

I’m a dyed in the wool Redskin fan. Watching the game yesterday, almost every shot of fans in the stands, you can still see Redskin paraphernalia they were decked out in. I lived in west Texas, Cowboy Country, but there was an Indian reservation close by. I would actually see more Redskin Jacket’s and hats than Cowboy swag. Anecdotal I know…but still.

If we have to split the baby, I’ll take the Logo…I’ll concede the name, but they’ll always be the Redskins to fans.
Condolences from Chiefs Kingdom...

Renaming the Redskins was just another example of the "woke" determining that minorities aren't fit to represent national brands.

Who's the racist now baby?
The issue here, as I've posed before- is simply:

DO Native Americans find the term "Redskins" offensive, or do they not?
That is actually the unanswered question, and it seems to be ambiguous. Some apparently do, some do not.

You, clearly, couldn't give a fuck if they did find it offensive. And even if it was determined that Native American groups universally did, in fact think it was offensive, you still wouldn't give a fuck because, giving a fuck would be "Woke" and therefore, wrong- according to your fucked up values.

If the majority of Native American groups- the MAJORITY of them- do vocally express that this mascot is an inappropriate term, then I am okay with the name being changed. If this is NOT the case- then yes; it is, as you put it, "Virtue Signalling."

The thing is, as I said before, I really don't know how each and every Native American person feels about that team name. I am also not clear as to who lobbied it to be changed, or how widespread the support among the Native American population was for the name change.

I don't but I cannot speak for all of the nations.

However, once again, I find the white man taking up arms and defining me again...

Right before he continues with his relentless eradication of my "noble" culture...

I think it's collective cracker guilt and they should get over it.

We did. We had to. Reality reared its ugly head
and issued us a smackdown.
We adapted and

They should begin their reformations and crusades at home before sending their knights out...

Good Crusades always began with pogroms of the unfaithful.

They fail to he'p their own.

Crushing debt is hard on a little Indian woman:

Their days are numbered. They are becoming a legal liability.
One would think, but this has been going on for some time and the network seems to think they're worth it.
People talk about all the things that need to change, how about putting back actual libel laws? Most of these shows would be shut down immediately.

The election was the ultimate sign of the Pendulum Effect. People of all races, genders and creeds rebelling against years of the woke agenda spewing judgement, hatred and fear while denigrating and abusing anyone who didn't agree. Part of this awakening and return to common sense came on the backs of independent content creators who more and more people turned to as they grew tired of years of "Reeeeeeeeeeee" and being told they're some form of bigot by the biggest bigots in the country.

To further continue this effect here's a thread to post links of videos and articles from anti-leftwing sources as well as memes, Tiktoks, and anything else that mocks the left as they have spent years mocking everyone else. Sources can be serious or funny, doesn't matter as long as it stands against the woke mob. There's a lot of good people out there worth supporting.

Suggestion to any who want to share something: When the left comes in here screaming, because that's all they ever do, don't respond to them at all. Just keep posting as if they're not there, because in a couple more years they won't be.
Do you not know that a pendulum swings both ways?

I think I'd sue the city councilman and the city for violation of civil rights.
