I was checking out the comments on my latest story this morning – btw thanks to all the LITEROTICANS who took the time to comment.

Anyway, by chance, I happened to glance to the right and saw a box that says “Similar Stories”. It's something I’ve never really paid any attention to but after investigating found that it’s something MANU has put in to help readers find stories similar to the one they’ve just read.

And WOW!!!!! Look at the works he’s compared my latest dabbling to – some of the greatest stories on the site. Samslam’s “Virgin Sister” is one of the most read, commented on, and favorited stories on the site.

And what about the dezurtdawg?

And of course the pacman! And his masterwork “Words on Skin”.

I hadn’t checked the “most views” list for a while but did click on yesterday. What the fuck? Only four 100,000 stories in the last thirty days? Tumbling to below 50,000 on the first page…

These are the lowest numbers I’ve seen since MANU introduced these lists a couple of years ago. Some thirty to forty percent off over the last six months. What gives? Are the heterosexual readers simply getting tired of the proliferation of gay stories on the site? Has the “fixed” contest system finally pissed off the public? Or are these endless twenty chapter plus non-human and sci-fi stories driving everyone but the hardcore incestophile away?

The question that pops to mind when you check the list – is it time to change the name of the site to INCESTEROTICA? Or more to the point MOTHEROTICA? Is this what the ROYAL FAMILY hoped for when they started this site years ago? Personally I don’t believe it is. I don’t think anyone who’s being fair could accuse LAUREL of being a motherfucker!

So what’s to be done? There are some obvious remedies. But I’d like to invite all LITEROTICANS for their suggestions on getting this site back on track. Let’s all help L+M.

I don't think scouries did this. I think that incest is the category most people come here to read plain and simple and that has nothing to do with him.

Lit has the biggest cache of these stories I've ever seen and its no surprise people come here for it.

At least its a taboo and sexual fetish category.

But someone likes them seeing they win multiple monthly awards quite frequently back when we had them anyway.
