Love Italy. Have visited Florence, Pisa, Rome and Milan. Trouble is, with my food allergies I just starve to death out there. Thank heaven for red wine, it's got to count for one (or five) of my 5 a day, right?

Most of the grammar is fine and I think the tone is appropriate, given the setting. Depends how close to the bone you're comfortable with I guess.

I'm working my way through a heavy tome of "the Marquis de Sade" he's a really TERRIBLE author, the kind of thing most people only ever read because they HAVE to. I'll admit to feeling a little obliged, but he interests me as a person. 120 Days of Sodom is very disappointing, not a lot more than a draft of the first few chapters with notes on subsequent episodes. Oxitern and Ernestine at least appears to be complete though the play only ever saw the stage twice. The characters are about as one dimensional as it's possible to get.

To be honest, the only reason I continue to read it is to get it out of the way, I can't leave a book part read. That and the fact that you never know when such an experience may just be useful.

To be honest I cant really give it the time at the moment.
