That's fair enough. I've been having the same thoughts. To hell with everything. Sometimes the hoops I'm expected to jump through are just stupid.

Yeah, you just have to be careful that you don't get into trouble by refusing fences. Thing do sort themselves out over time and testing boundaries to hard and too often can sometimes cause things which are worse in the long run.

I understand and I agree. It's just that if I think that fences have been put up for no good reason it makes me all sammy and belligerent.

Gods I'm such an engineering geek. spent 10 minutes yesterday watching a mobile tower crane self erecting. one push of a button and the computer just sent it skywards like some sort of mechanical ballet.

My error comes from my limited experience of home wine making where the finings we used were 100% man made.

Well, it was a wrench. I assumed that wine was vegan until I joined a vegan forum and began reading stuff. The vegan wine is nice but doesn't necessarily taste better, it just costs more and soothes my conscience. Interestingly, Germany has the strictest regs on wine production in the EU and almost all German wine is vegan. Given the recent thing with Hungarians painting their wine red and the Italians sticking anti-freeze in it, I think I'd rather stick with the Krauts.

The French used to have a bad rep for glycol in the cheeper wines. But that was way back when.

Its a shame everything these days needs so much artifical crap to make it.

Can Vegans eat honey?

Vegans don't eat honey as bees are farmed and 'exploited' but I have yet to kick honey as I'm wheat intolerant and fast running out of things to eat.
