How are you doing?

I am great, just moved to near Manchester. I was near Leeds couple of years ago and wanted to come back north (possibly unwise with a southern accent!).

Finally unpacked and started new job, just need to figure out the rest of life

Still in Sheffield, still working as a self employed consultant. Married 2 years now. Recently separated from a sub whom I thought was perfect alas so trying to rebuild that portion of my life.

Been a roller coaster couple of years to be fair.

And now I am dashing out the door (well, in about 10 minutes) to go for a nice walk down near Bakewell. Should be back between and 6 and 7pm.

Had a lovely sunday dinner, followed by a walk in the Surrey hills and a horse and carriage ride, which was great fun.

So help me... I joined a dating site

Though I still think i am more likely to meet someone at a munch. but all the local kinksters said I should join the site.... so I did.

Omg!! No way!! erm do they have sections for kink oriented folks? They all seem rather nilla.
Why not travel to munches further afield? Head south, see what London has to offer I would go with you (coz I am too woose to go alone and am curious )

I'm travelling to others. but I'm limiting myself to 60 minutes in any direction (though having to ignore those to the north of me to avoid bumping into her or her new guy)

She lives 150 miles north of me, but he's less than 50. 150 was too far for me to be able to get to her quickly if she had a shitty day and needed a hug. I need to make sure that the next person I am with is closer so we can.

Though, for K, I would wave that... if she ever chose to come back. Which I am sure she will not.

Everyone I have dated since 2003 has been from online. Some lasted, some didn't. Some people I met were not who they thought they were, and yes; most fakes were from cm.

Apart from cm and alt not sure which other sites are out there. I am not a fan on fetlife, and am on bdsmfriendbook, although that is not really a dating site.

I wish you luck with it and if you find the secret on how to meet the right one, please, please let me know!

Aye, we're a friendly bunch in this thread. No point really in trying to find the few people on Lot who are "the ones to know" because everyone will tell you something different about who that is ;-)
