Getting up that early for me is a killer, my body clock hates disruption and any cost. However the idea of having more time to shop, is definately an agreeable one. I guess Mancs is pretty decent shop wise :)

Had a nice evening supporting a few clients at a Learning disability social club, they had a great time and their unfettered joy rubs off well :) I hate that they have such a tough time, they are the most wonderful group of people I know.

Hey people :rose:

I can enjoy shopping so long as I'm not looking for anything specific, for a specific event. My retail therapy these days takes place mostly in charity shops but it's still all good fun.

Watching Bad boys on TV and sipping a gin. Incidentally, Asda's citrus and mint high juice is THE most thirst quenching thing ever.

... in the absence of any actual action that is.

Good evening... and good night. After another long day I am about to throw myself into bed and hope I wake up in the morning in some what finer fettle than I have the last few days.

We shall see.

Hope you all sleep well and have pleasant dreams!

Mx

Morning everyone :)

Another long day yesterday and I've been in the office for nearly an hour already, but at least it's Friday.

Having said that, daughter desperately wants to get a wristband for a band signing, and its a first come first served affair starting at 7 am in the city centre tomorrow. To stand even a vague hope of getting one, she's going to have to join the queue at around 5.30-6 am, so no lie-in tomorrow either!

Hope you all have a good day :)

Ah, the things we do for the people we love.

Today is actually a fairly simple one for me work wise. plenty to do but not long journeys which is nice.

well, i've been on the road since feb last year. circumstances allowed me to sack it and walk the earth, etc. no, no lottery win, getting by on about US$50 a day (got an income from army pension and tenants in me house), so it isn't all five-star ... sometimes not even half-a-star ... although there have been no real disas-stars! (apart from a bus crash in honduras - the bus survived but i don't think the driver of the taxi that it hit did).

... anyway, i do think of blighty often when i'm away. and, believe it or not, i did miss 'weather'.

... oh, and bacon! i missed bacon.

Everyone misses bacon.

I know vegetarians who still miss bacon after 30 years :)

Damn it... Now I want bacon!

Husband has been vegetarian since he was 4. The only time he wavers is when I cook bacon...

Mmmmmm bacon!!
Bacon and egg sandwich on crisp fresh white bloomer is one of the finest things in life!

Dammit now I want one!!

Good morning :)
Had a bizarre day yesterday where my 6 year old daughter ended up spending the morning with a front bench MP delivering leaflets. Poor fella had his ears talked off! He came back looking mildly shellshocked lol.... I forgot to warn him hehehehe!
I guess for him it was a grounding event, someone who was definitely not in awe or deferrence of him, and telling it just how it was! :D

Hi, just found this thread again.

Anyone else here in Uk like pegging, facesitting and mutual masturbation? Looking to hook up online with women into same.

Morning Daisy.

Bacon sarnies all round then.

Glad you daughter taught the MP something new :)

Turns out my professor has been trying to do his laundry in the tumble dryer for goodness knows how long. This might explain why his house always smells a little funky.

Oh dear! How much home help is he getting? Might be time for a housekeeper.

Hoping to get out today, but once again the weather doesn't look great :( what a washout of a holiday!

Yup, going to try to swing that for him in the meeting today. currently he gets 30 minutes a day in the morning to help with his meds and that's it. Well.... 6 hours a week with me too.

Glorious up here in sheffield and the weather is looking ok for the bulk of the weekend.
