The one on Friday was a bit of a disaster but that's the way it goes sometimes. Geekery yesterday was fun and though the quiet evening alone to de-pressurise from the noise was nice I am getting a little sick of not having someone to spend my time with!
This needs to be rectified.

Back from mothers, nice dinner, lil girl not in the best of moods tho, so not entirely sure what is bugging her, but kicking her brother will not help her cause any!

Last proper work day for a month woot woot!! I collect all my leave and use it in August.... Because I can
Time to relax and recharge my batteries, I need it, the stress of work has made me unwell, I need to heal.

Yeah, I hear you on the holiday thing. I'm off after this week for a fortnight and I really need the break. All I need to do is get through the double-stress of making sure everything's squared away this week before I go!

Could so with a holiday. Not had a week off uninterrupted by work in nearly 12 years. Something always came up that dragged me back part way through.

Evening everyone, old and new.
Delays travelling back meant a 17 hour journey in all, missing a night's sleep because of the time difference, so the jet lag is tough at the moment. That said, we had a great time with wonderful weather, and although i still had to do some work most days, I'm grateful that we were able to go.
And as this is my 1000th post, I'd like to say thanks to all the good friends I've made on here since my first post only a few months ago (I know - its a bit of a cheat racking up the post count with word games, but I enjoy them). Hope those of you that are happy remain so, and that those of you that are still seeking, find what you are looking for.
And of course, special mention to M who has been missed very much whilst I've been away - it's good to be back home x
