Morning people :)

Working from home today so a lazy start for me, which is good because I feel sluggish this morning - will probably feel better once breakfast and meds start working their magic.

Hope we all had a restful sleep and are ready to do battle with Tuesday.
 
Doing lots of reading and getting my head around my news.
It seems as tho getting it this early is really good and it is the most treatable one.
Gonna be getting used to seeing my innards tho...

Not the best night sleep and my appetite has disappeared, but it will return when I get my head straight.
I have taken a kicking, but I am ok xxxxx

Nice morning catching up with one of my old students.
Last night was wonderful, I drove down to see M. It's horrible he has so much stress and he is getting very run down :( lots of cuddles given!

Sound like Johnny Cash this morning - my throat is on fire and I've got so much to do today and tomorrow *shuffles off under a cloud of self-pity*....

Sounds like everyone I know has some sort of bad throat this week. Hopefully you're all feeling a bit better this morning?

Sons party tonight, arrival of family imminent and I feel like dwith warmed up :(

Not good to be in charge of the catering when you're sneezing all the time, is it?

Nah, it's fine. If you sneeze on the food just cover it over or pick it off ;)
 
So I bought the table decorations for tonight online on Monday and paid for next day delivery.

They've arrived today, mostly damaged, some items missing and some out of stock to be sent on later....

And when I rang to complain, they blamed the website guy and offered to get him to phone me directly to apologise. When I asked how they thought that would help magic the missing items out of thin air and replace the damaged ones, there was silence...

So now husband has had to leave work early to trail round the shops to try to find what we need. :mad:

Morning UK - the sun is shining, the party was a success and I can spend the day (once the visitors have departed) giving full rein to this cold that is refusing to budge.

I feel absolutely dreadful this morning, sore throat, headache, can't breathe, ache all over, and I am looking forward to a rest this afternoon!

He changed his mind (luckily) to an acoustic guitar, Daisy, which was a lot easier all round.

Hope you all enjoy your Saturday.
 
Ahh, the acoustic guitar is a much better idea!! :)

Had a very lazy day, not doing much, a real veg day.

Made a serious purchase of a violet wand! :D fun times ahead!
 
The birthday boy has just opened his presents and is now sitting in a Chewbacca dressing gown playing 'Nothing else matters' on the acoustic whilst waiting for the breakfast of kings - a bacon sandwich :)

Morning All,

The sun is out and I ventured to walk Lil girl to school today :)
Busy morning catching up with last year's parents. Everything seems to be going smoothly (touch wood)
Spent the evening vegging and watching Star Trek :)
Need to do some housework, but there was a giant spider in my room and I am shit scared of them! I need a housekeeper!!

Hope everyone is doing well today, colds clearing up and professors not committing arson!
